LORE:

Led by the fiery Jade and her kin, the Kismet clan functions out of a surprisingly pleasant cafe located between the Sunportal and the Driftwood Drag. In addition to being a source of income it also serves as a hub for idle gossip; hearsay which is pruned by the employees for information that might be useful to their benefactor, the Shadowbinder.
A secret door through the kitchens leads down into an enormous cavern system where the clan's dragons nest, train, and interact.

CULTURE:

- This particular Dragon clan has adopted a tradition of changing their names to match their loved one(s). Mates, relatives, and comrades express their affection and affinity for one another by doing so. There are, of course, instances where dragons that know nothing of each other have names with similar meanings, but such occurrences are few and far between ("matching" names are often synonyms or antonyms but might also simply relate to the same topic).

- Due to the magical nature of their home, many of the dragons living in the caves develop shimmering gemstones upon their hide. While beautiful in appearance, the glittering growths are a curse to the afflicted that must be chipped down every few days, less the crystallization spread across their entire body and leave them a lifeless statue.
