Hello my name is DragonTremor and I have come to tell you a story of how my dragons and I have came to be. I was a little boy who come from a poor family in small village my mom and dad worked so hard to provide for us, I used to help out in the town with odd jobs so that way I could sometimes surprise my mother and father with things I worked hard for. My dad was a craftsman by trade and my mother worked hard at maintaining the house while dad was away. Well one day I went to help the fisherman of the town by going fishing for him since he couldn't leave the shop. I was on the shore and didn't catch anything but when I turned around I seen something gleaming in the light it looked like a really neat rock but it was on the cliff side, so I decided to climb up and take a look. I almost fell a couple of times but I finally made it there. I was looking at this really strange rock that looked as though it was on fire but it wasn't it was hot to the touch though as I burned my hand from it. I didn't realize that there was a cave behind me as I was trying to figure out how to get the rock home with me. I suddenly felt a breath behind me as though it was a gust of wind then a voice came out from the cave and said this to me. (It is a beautiful thing is it not young one?) I started to panic because I thought I was hearing things but then She started to come out of the cave as she stepped the ground shook with each step. I was frozen with fear and fascination at what I was looking at. She told me (do not be afraid I will not harm you young human. I know this is a shock to you but I am a Dragon one of the last on this Island.) I couldn't move but these words came out of my mouth (that's impossible I thought all the dragons died long ago?) She said (Oh no we did not die we only went back to where we were born so we could sever under our Reigning Gods. My Reigning god is the Flamecaller you see young one. I have been trying to go back but I am old and I have gotten lost for I am forgetting things more and more every day.) I could hardly believe it I was talking with a real live Dragon and they aren't as fearsome as many have come to believe. I asked her how would you even find the land or world of the dragons? She told me with old magic it can take you to the world where we come from but I am too weak to even use my magic. She said that I have to go for now so that she can rest with her egg. I said egg? what do you mean I don't see any eggs. She said the thing that is glowing and looks like it is fire what do you think it is? I told her I thought it was an old rock that was infused with magic. Since everyone where I come from use magic and magical artifacts to cook clean and other things. She laughs and goes oh no not at all that is my egg I let it sit in the sun for that is how it draws in heat for it to hatch. You see I can not hardly breath a fearsome fire for I'm getting older and weaker. So I have to use the sun to keep it warm. But I do wish to go back to where I am from for that is where Dragons get there magic and energy replenished. I said that I must go but I will return tomorrow to learn more from her. The next day I came back and she wasn't looking so good and weaker then before. She made me promise to look after her egg and to one day return him back to their land. Her name as she told me was Mesakyu. She begged and pleaded for me to protect her egg with my life and to keep him warm one day he will know by everything comeing to him and his instinct on how to go back to our home land. I had no choice but to accept the responsibility, after I did she passed away and then her body turned into what looked like firefly's and floated up into the sky disappearing. I kept going every day to the cave and making fires under the egg to keep it warm and as I did I could see the baby dragon inside moving as if the egg was transparent. but the baby dragon looked happy for it kept swimming around in its egg gracefully. As I grew so did the egg but I worked hard and in secret to keep the egg safe from any harm. Until one day it hatched while I was away and when I came to the cave I was shocked by the site of the egg it looked as though it was smashed open so I was scared and panicking. I had no idea the egg hatched and that the baby dragon was over in the corner looking at me. He jumped on me like how a cat pounces on its pray. Then I heard a voice say (Why have you come here? have you come to harm me or trap me?) I said no I was the one that was looking after you for all those years after your mother passed away I promised that I would protect and take care of you and to also help you find a way back to where the dragons roam free. The dragon realizing who I was apologized to me and stepped off of me. His name Was Scorge. We became best friends going on many different travels but I also ran into a girl I fell in love with. I married her and we had a son and a daughter, I told them the story of the dragon and me but they thought they were tall tales until I introduced them all to Scorge. They were scared and frozen and horrified by him but when I went and pet him and went flying and came back they weren't so scared of him. He took the kids for a ride on him and they were loving flying in the clouds my wife was so scared at first going near him but he spoke and said there is no need to be afraid I will not harm you or your young ones for I am friends with your husband and now your kids, come and I will show you me and my wife went and climbed on him and then flew in the sky. She didn't know what this sensation was or what to say about the magnificent view in the sky. My whole family vowed to help him get back to his home. We were researching about everything and the old magics but came up empty handed, until my son started doing weird things and making things disappear and multiply. He was using magic but it was Scorge who was teaching him this for he started just knowing different old magics that could heal, or harm, or even make things that get destroyed be fixed again. I didn't know that my son could do magic but Scorge said that it ran in our whole familys genetics that we all could do magic but we wouldn't do all magics just ones that would come easier to us. We started to learn more and get books with spells and everything to see if we couldn't learn from them and to maybe also find a way to get Scorge home. I then realized what Mesakyu said to me that Scorge would know how to get back home by instinct and that the knowledge of how to go back would come to home. It was 4 years that passed by trying to help Scorge and the kids gotten older and more skillful of their magic and my wife was the scariest of them all for when she got mad even the mighty dragon Scroge ran. Her magic trumped all of ours and when we got up to no good she would put us in our place for pulling pranks on some of our towns people. You see the town we lived in come to find out about Scorge and let him be part of the village for they hated the violence and was amazed that there was still a dragon left. They weren't to keen on the jokes or pranks though. They wanted to help any way they could to get him back home you see for the king there was trying to track down any mythical animal or beast to either kill or enslave them for his own gain and the town wouldn't let that happen. but one day the soldiers came because a guy passing through town seen Scroge and reported him to the king there were many soldiers everywhere the town was fighting them on our behalf because they believed that everything should be living in harmony. Scorge couldn't take it seeing all of his friends no his family being hurt and went into a rage and started to breath fire at the soldiers and put a path of fire that burnt hotter then a normal fire between the town and them in his rage he grabbed my wife and kids and me and then a spell circle popped up in the sky and a rift came open and it was Scorge doing it unknowingly because he was cross with the soldiers and the king for harming their own people. He flew through and since then we came here at first it was scary for there were dragons and eggs and lairs everywhere but as the years passed we come to love and live with them as did other humans who came here by accident. We started helping hatch and take care of eggs. We now live in a place called Emberglow Hearth in the Ashfall Waste. Now we just raise and breed and train dragons. That is how my story came to be.....
