Materials they can be traded at Crim's Collection Cart or Swipp's Swap Stand. Or sold outright like you can do with anything you get or you can put it up for auction to try and get more for it.

Thats very possible. I am sure everyone has a different opinion on it some people sell it in the auction house. Some trade it at Crim's Collection Cart. Some save it or just outright sell it from their hoard. So ultimately it is up to you.

Trinkets as in the dolls? Keep one of each of the dolls from each clan it is an achievement some trinkets can be traded in Crim's Collection Cart. :)
