The tower jutted out of the frozen mountainside, a pillar of white in an endlessly blue sky. Purple banners flickered against its walls, bending and twisting in the frosted winds. The doors were left open yet the elements never breached them. The inside was open all the way up, heated by hearth magic and lit by warn. violet lanterns. Books towered up the sides of the structure, floor after floor of dusty tomes and scrolls. This was a place of magic, where the Archmages of the Violet Mysts studied. They only ever seem to pause their dutiful studies for well-earned ramen breaks.
