Here, in the shadow of the remains of a ring of standing stones a small band of outcasts, misfits and assorted remnants have carved out a place for themselves in the middle of an isolated expanse of the Abiding Boneyard.

Anthrax, a somewhat insane, extremely ambitious Ridgeback has set himself up as relatively undisputed ruler of this little band and is making plans that he does not see fit to reveal to others as of this moment. Soon though, soon something will have to happen. He can feel it in his bones and in his wings, surely as the miserable winds that constantly whisper around the massive stones that provide meager shelter from the elements. There has to be a reason for it, a reason for the group of them ending up together and staying together for as long as they have. Anthrax believes it is because he is destined for greatness and that those around him are his followers because they can feel it. This is likely only true in his mind, not that it matters to him since there is a reason.

Of course it never occurred to Anthrax that others might have been drawn to this place before he and the others and that the scattered bones, cracked and bleached in the sun, may not have been there by chance. Other travelers clearly came to this place in the past. Perhaps they may have understood its significance, perhaps not. One thing is for certain, none of those currently calling this place their home fully understand what it is or what it means. Except perhaps for the pair of Guardian dragons who were drawn to it on their Search, but they are keeping quiet about it, possibly because it is their nature, possibly because it is the secret of the place that is their Charge, rather than the physical location.
