She was born on ligthing territory. Her surrounds were desert and stormy. Food was scarce and dangers abounded.

Meliora learned that since she was just a hatch. She managed to survive without knowing exactly how, and likewise became the matriarch of a clan without even realizing it.
With the help of Ostara and Vale she managed to leave the lands of ligthing and fled to an even more inhospitable place.

"Well, this isnt what I spected" Ostara crushed a skull under her claws. "This was your plan since the beginning. Isn't that right, Meliora?"

The little Fae looked at her with faithful eyes.

"Figth or die." She replied. "If a child manages to survive in a place like this. There will be no dragon or beast able to defeat him. It is the best way to strengthen future generations ..."

They began to dig on the slopes of the mountains and settled in fire territory.

Meliora was right, the newborns were strong and fierce. Now, her clan would be dedicated to strengthening and expanding. Just like lava running down the side of a volcano...
