Port Aeturnum

The port remains, and the city with it.

Just north of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, where the Driftwood Drag meets the Foxfire Bramble, only miles away from the shores of the Scarred Wasteland, sits a city. A small one, nestled between a river on one side and a wall of bramble on the other, but a city no less. It’s a port city, one that lies on the border between three regions, near the only river that cuts directly from the Sea of a Thousand Currents to the Viridian Labyrinth, and although one might think that land barriers such as the Tangled Wood would be made obsolete by courier dragons, large heavy cargo is much harder to carry, and mages strong enough to shrink or lighten such loads demand high prices for their services.
So the port remains, and the city with it, and most ships on their way through the passage stop there, to restock, or sell any goods they can, or simply as shore leave for their crews. The city remains, and with it the thriving black market that is inevitably formed in any place with as much trade as this port. The city remains, and with it the secretive guilds that run it, the masked oligarchs whose identities have never been discovered (Or have they?), and the mysterious string of murders that the City Watch doesn’t seem to be investigating.
It's interesting, because the Oligarchy meets once a week, but no one has been seen entering the council room in months. It’s interesting, because no matter which oligarch you send a message to, the handwriting on the reply is always the same. It’s interesting, because the only guildmasters who’ve been seen out and about since the murders stopped are the Guildmaster of the Arts and the Guildmaster of Trade, and everyone knows the Arts have been in Trade’s pocket for decades.

But no matter; you’re not staying very long anyway, are you? You’ll be off in the morning with the tides, after your captain has sold whatever ‘e can, and the rest of your crew has had a quick drink. It doesn’t do to think too much about what the higher-ups are doing. Most of us never have any reason to care, ‘cept when the taxes are raised. And we don’t want any more disappearances, now, do we?

Hehhehe, glad that Aura found a good home! I was particularly happy with how well the eyes matched the tertiary colors on the gold ones for this round. :3

Doesn't have to be an obelisk since I could use a nocturne breed change and breed with an obby I already got but no worries :) I have a couple pairs nesting right now I'm hopeful with

I can't reply to the CR, but I'm trying to get Cream/Auburn/Rose on a male obelisk. I've bred a loooot of similar dragons but they keep coming out fathoms and/or female. I'm getting to the point where a lot of my dragons are related haha.
