Maricam's Clan
Clan Info
In the midst of The Abiding Boneyard, there lay a safe heaven for the wanderers and lost souls doomed to their fate. A powerful and ancient plague dragon took pity on those who trekked across the desolate wastes, and thus harnessed the fullest of their power to seal the corruption away in their own corpse, which now lay at the bottom of the gaping hole in the ground, where outcroppings and trickling water dot the walls down to the final resting place of the sealer and their final clutch, one day to hatch and bring peace again to those wandering the boneyard...
--Surface Dwellers--
The surface dwellers are the first to be called to battle, and usually are there looking for a mate or are intent on being without one. Once a dragon finds a mate and a nook, they may move to the Midlayer, where majority of the mating pairs and scholars live.
--Midlayer--
Here is where paired dragons come to mate and spend their lives attempting to raise the young left here. This is also a place where scholars and merchants may claim space for a shop or keep to store material and scrolls. Every once in a while, a hatchling will be born with mysterious magical affinity, and be taken to be trained with the denizens of the Deep Stone.
-Deep Stone--
A mystical place that has been forbidden to enter unless you were drawn here by a power beyond your understanding or chosen by one of the denizens. Dragons will spend their whole lives here, taken from the moment of their hatching to train their elemental affinity to its maximum potential. Most never leave the caves down below, except to inspect the hatchings for potential denizens. This network of interconnected nooks is home to the denizens, dragons with an unnatural magical affinity.
--Ancient Caves--
Dragons long resurrected after millenia of absence, the ancient dragons reside here. Long forgotten tombs and archives lay here below the earth, and the ancient dragons are the focus. Ancient breeds are drawn here to learn and pay respects to their ancestors, or if they simply arent ready to be reintroduced to more modern breeds.
--Landing Pad--
The landing pad is a network made of branching vines and tendrils emerging from the desolate landscape, a dull green among a splattering of dusty purple and grey. Young dragons and newcomers are sent here until they can find a home, either within another territory, or refugees come to escape the boneyard.
