Rumors whisper of an Arcane island unbound by the Starfall Isle's gravity. Crystalline and mysterious, it floats through the sea shared by the Arcane, Wind, and Ice Flights, shrouded by fog and an unwavering sense of forbidding. Dragons call it the mirage island, for you can gaze upon its beauty at a distance, but should you dare approach it, it would vanish like mist before sunlight, leaving you unsure of its existence. Wise dragons write it off as another one of Arcane's strange facets of magic. Foolish dragons chase after it, day after day, reaching for the unreachable - until the mystery that hides the island claims them in the cold waters.

And yet, a clan lives upon this dreaded, lovely island. They often appear at nearby ports to do trading, only to disappear as abruptly as they had appeared. It is said that they are the only ones who know how to approach the island, and not be driven away like so many others. And if you catch their fancy, well, they might just lead the way.

That is, of course, if you're brave enough to follow...

And you can see it at daybreak
When the sun rises from the sea
When the warm light flickers over
The crystalline fractals and seams

And they say you can approach it at noon
When the sea is calm as a stone
When a single light shines above you
And leads you away from shore

It's a fatalistic journey
But the light shines bright and true
Over sharp reefs and hidden currents
As if it's protecting you

And when you arrive it's beautiful
The island is filled with life and sound
And if you hadn't dared to venture
You'd never believe what could be found

It's lovely and it's deadly
There are bones beneath the ground
For some mysteries must stay hidden
Some would kill rather than be found.

So let the stars shine above you
Let their sweet lights be your guide
But child, I pray you be cautioned
Don't disturb the secrets deep inside.
