Asei's Clan
Clan Info
This clan is based on Greek Mythology. (When I began this clan, I knew little to nothing about Greek Mythology, but I know more now so I'm changing the description.)
There are Warriors, Hunters, Gardeners, Prophets, and Gods in this clan. The Gods are not on the same plane as the rest of the clan.
The Warriors are the ones protecting the clan from harm. The Hunters gather meat, fish, and insects for the clan. The Gardeners care for edible plants for the herbivores of the clan and also may gather edible plants outside of the clan borders. The Prophets talk to the Gods and heal wounds with resources from the Gardeners and Hunters.
The Gods watch over all of Sornieth and as such do not necessarily "belong" to this clan. However, a few clans throughout the world are much closer to the Gods than others, and this clan happens to be one of them.
Because this clan is closer to the Gods, each time a new dragon is hatched, the Gods take notice and one of them will become the dragon's patron God. Occasionally, though, no God will choose a specific dragon and they will have no patron. When this happens, said dragon will be trained by one of their parents into what the parent is.
The Warriors' patron God is usually Athena, Ares, or Zeus. The Hunters' patron God is almost always Artemis, but very occasionally can be Pan. The Gardeners' patron God is usually Demeter or Pan, but is sometimes Dionysus or Artemis. The Prophets usually have Apollo, Dionysus, or Hestia as their patron God, but can have any God.
Hermes, Hades, and Aphrodite apply to all dragons, so they are found as patrons throughout the clan.
Hera applies to dragons that are female, to dragons that can have children, and to dragons in a committed relationship, so she isn't found as a patron God as much as others. However, dragons without a patron usually seek after Hera as a patron, as she is very broad in what she reigns over and therefore is most likely to take them in.
Hephaestus only applies to dragons that do metalwork or craft.
