Enigmatic and reclusive, creative and wary - with the slightest touch of xenophobia - the Divine clan may appear arrogant and apathetic to other clans, but they possess a great passion for their flight. Aesthete to a fault, they desire to beautify the world in the name of the Gladekeeper, turning barren lands into lush forests, bringing green to even the darkest and most desolate of places. Naturally, this puts them at odds with rival flights - particularly Ice and Plague. At times, their impassioned beliefs lead to conflicts - often brief, but always fierce. This has earned them a reputation for zealotry, and many Divines find themselves ridiculed, berated, or ostracized by their own flight - which has led to their seclusion from fellow nature clans.

Divines prize beauty among their clan, some becoming obsessed with color or traits among hatchlings. Care is taken with mated pairs, and often mates are joined not by love, but by genes.

Bold colors are favored: reds, golds and blacks being identifiers of a common Divine. Gold and whites are considered pure; striking patterns and contrasts on shadowed colors are highly regarded.

Vivid greens, vibrant blues, and royal purples are rarer, but no less valued. Pastels must be attractive in shading, pattern, and traits, otherwise they will be quietly handed over to the Matriarch for exalting, or "gifted" to other clans/flights.

Rest assured, the Divines will never mistreat an unfortunately colored hatchling - and instead, will celebrate them as they ascend to a higher calling.
