Vandrende.
The city of neon and machines. Built deep underground beneath the Tempest Spire it is the spirit of lightning incarnate. A nigh lawless land where the only thing that matters is freedom, sometimes at the expense of another's. The few existing laws are mercilessly enforced to maintain a fragile sense of order but the Council knows its own denizens are the ones with the real power. A place where science and madness intertwine in an offbeat dance. Where the primal and mundane collide and thrive. Districts set to the tune of metallic beats and livewire sparking are often side by side to rhythmic chanting, the smell of oil and herbs mixing together over markets. The hundreds of cults, gods, and spirits are no issue to the city, as their tunnels span the world and the original members are themselves of varied roots. Why fix what isn't broken after all? |
