Nobody knows when the Darkened Lair first formed, nor how did such a hectic mass of Dragons ever managed to co-exist in this Lightless domain. They dwelve under the cover of Night, some chanting an odd phrase like an ode to the Shadowbinder;
"From the Shadows,

With Darkness,
We strike.
Into the Night,
We rise."
The Dragons of this clan, although all nocturnals, roams freely within the Tangled Woods, but their Leader and his Mate are oddly absent or simply unwilling to show themselves out of their Lair. Or so will you think...
