In the dingy streets of the city where the sun never rises - the Marshmallow Mafia thrives.
Through years of darkness and absent-minded expansion, the crime rate grew with ease. Heavy-handed politics seemed to be a need, malefactors slide between the fingers of justice. But what is justice in a corrupted city? It completely depends on which side you align with. Apollo Enterprises, the famous sunlight-seller, rules over every corner with a snap. Mashed, the owner of AE, is followed by shady sun-cultists blind by nice words and empty hopes. Wolfing down on smaller gangs, factions and workers, the country's biggest light-catcher achieved hegemony since the very start on the market.
The best choice is not to get involved with such things, stay away from the "bad" people. But sometimes you're caught in one of those circles. You might choose to run away, but at some moment it will find you, in one of it's most different shapes.
My case wasn't much different from the other people around me; I was bound to it since I first stepped home. They wanted my family's little piece of land, and they got it. Before it happened, I had moved to the big city. I worked for AE for a few years; they gave me good benefits so I fell for it. Since then, I already lost my job, but even so, I don't think it was for worse. We will stay down where we belong.
