There are legends about one special cave in the Sunbeam Ruins that is so wondrous and perilous that many curious souls have been drawn to it but few have dared wandering deep enough into to be able to find out its secrets. Most of those who had reached the cave's mystery-loaded depths haven't returned to tell.
The Luminous Cave is as beautiful as it is dangerous, however, a vasy variety of bioluminescent flora serving as sources of light and giving it its name.
Sworn to protect both the cave and the naive souls that wandered about from each other, a clan of dragons has settled down at the mouth of the cave.
Its creed is to keep outsiders out, safe from the cave's magical powers, and the cave's vicious creatures in.
Overexposure to the cave's mythical powers have caused some dragons to develop strage behaviours, go insane or fossilize, though it seems that its effects vary greatly from dragon to dragon.
To ensure that the fatalities are limited, the clan has set in place strict regulations as to who may enter or leave the cave. While most of the clan resides outside the cave's entrance, some members live inside. Most of them of their own accord.
