Crystalspine Reaches...
This mighty mountain range once stood straight and tall, but as the realm transformed, so did the Reaches. The peaks now curve inward, pointing directly toward the Observatory and creating a concave and sheltered realm for younger flights to nurture their nascent powers and to grow accustomed to the warping energies of the land. The dragons here mine the peaks and use their fledgeling magic to send large plinths of crystal to their patron.

What some Flights don't know, however, is that deep down in the mines of these Reaches, a small SubFlight of dragons are forming into something massive, and the world just doesn't know it yet. You take flight to this hidden part of the caves within the Crystalspine Reaches, and before you begin to comprehend it, you are in its territory.

Kuvonia. This is it - the place where secrets stay secrets, the land where the stars are nothing compared to the hearts in each dragon you meet. Kuvonia, a place that anyone was welcome to call home, no matter their differences. This here was a sanctuary for all dragons, but not many seemed to stay for long... perhaps this was because this place was too good to be true. Maybe it was due to the fear of strangers, or maybe... just maybe, it was the fear of something else - something much larger, and something much more powerful.

The permanent neighbors of Kuvonia greet you. They polish your wings and talons, they spoil you with goodies and treasures as gifts... but something seems off. It's as if something's missing, but at the same time, everything felt too crowded. Their faces, the looks in their eyes... it all seemed so strange to you. Too strange.

You feel the need to leave, to run and fly away. Your stomach starts to cramp and your eyes start to tear up. Something's wrong - something's terribly wrong. Yet, you stay; not because you want to. Not because you're curious to see what's next.

You stay because you have no way out.
