Wandering in the highest and coldest mountains, as you step out of a surprisingly lively forest you may find a small plateau where it feels like it’s summer - even though you are on the Southern Icefield. On this plateau there is a big town surrounded by walls, and you suddenly remember the tales and legends that you have heard long before, of a wandering clan going across the snowy lands from the West. “It’s the Passus!” you realise, and wonder how the small family of three dragons have become this great.

Yes, my friend, the Passus wasn’t always here and wasn’t always this big. At the beginning there were only sister and brother: one ambicious and one humble. A third came with the knowledge of distant places and with her knowledge she encouraged them to rise. As they were wandering through the Southern Icefields their family grew into a clan seeking something or someone great. Their journey was long and their battles were hard, but they are now here before your eyes, as one of the strongest clans, hidden in a valley and living peacefully under the wings of the Icewarden.
