The City of Yul was built long, long ago, in ancient ages past. A gleaming gem of civilization within the Lightweaver's domain, serving under her watch. It fell to ruin under the touch of the shade, great and ancient beauty and knowledge lost to the ages. A young pearlcatcher named Kelsus changed all that, rediscovering the ruins of Yul in the modern era among a forest of redwoods on the border of Light and Nature. She transformed the ruins, recruiting the dragons of Clan Yulon to rebuild, restore the glory of the once-great city. It took years of building and recruiting, but eventually, Yul was once again a shining jewel of Light, known far and wide for its wondrous library, and the unique ability to capture a dragon's essence into a book, matching their likeness and telling their story, archiving it away to be known for generations to come. The city thrived, and all within were wont for nothing. But such peace could never last. With the emergence of the Emperor Luminax, Yul suffered a heavy blow. With a combination of little to no warning of the emperor's imminent approach and the chaotic power sent their way, much of Clan Yulon died at its hands, bravely defending their city. Others were injured. And Yul fell back into the ruin from whence it came, years and years of work, gone within a day. The survivors of Clan Yulon rallied behind Kelsus, but she was growing older, and tired. With her life's work fallen to ruin, she, with a heavy heart, passed the leadership of the clan to her apprentice, Hafwen, and left the decision to her of their next step. With no home and few options, Hafwen decided to lead the clan into her once-home, The Viridian Labyrinth, where the clan has decided to settle and recoup at the base of the Behemoth. |

i also have an astral self monk (tiefling, second best race lol), and the arms are SUPER COOL! you gain a 5ft reach and can do force damage instead with them!

where i get to play an aasimar mercy monk! she's not a reskin of my tranquility monk, because her story was Fully Complete and it feels weird to put her somewhere else. but she's DOPE AF and i LOVE HER SO MUCH. MONKS RULE BABEY.

YEAH!! YOU GET IT!! my first was way of tranquility, because way of mercy Didn't Exist Yet (didn't get UA until 2020, which is after her campaign was over), but mercy was actually more fitting for how she was played and such. BUT i'm in another campaign 1/

they're SO GOOD!! my first ever aasimar was a protector aasimar monk and she was SO AWESOME. just... punching and flying and punching some more. and gently patting you on the face and healing you a little. protector is probably my fave subrace because FLY

GASP LUMINARIES!! i didn't know you were back!!! WB!!!!! also: aasimar are literally my favorite dnd race, i think my pickrate is like 60% and that's ONLY because i actively try to not pick it every time.
