Continuance Lore

Every month as the season changes and your life shifts ever so imperceptibly, there is a reason. A reason for the slow falling of the leaves in October and the melting of the snow in March. A reason why you couldn't sleep in February and found love in April.
It's the dragons.
Everyone month they wake from slumber to take on the guardianship. Relying on each other as a clan to fulfill the same purpose and to sit beyond the sky and stars to watch over this land.
Wholly united they are in their duty - they never ask for anything in return.
They are ready to carry the burden.
They were born for this task.

Holiday Minors

Holiday Minors are special dragons who guard and oversee a particular holiday throughout the year. They joins the Guardians in their perch on the clouds during the particular days of their celebration.
While the Guardians watch over and maintain overall peace during that time, it is the Holiday Minors' job to make sure their holiday runs smoothly and successfully.

Clan Protectors

These dragons are warriors. While they were not born within the clan, they travelled thousands of miles over many years to find the Guardians.
They are first and foremost loyal to the Guardians, but by extension, they also extend their protection to all other dragons in the clan. They also provide training guidance to any clan dragon that wishes to learn.
As part of their pledge of duty, they will never have mates.

Others

The other dragons in the clan are either mates of Guardians or Holiday Minors or adopted dragons from other clans. In order to accept a non-mated dragon into the clan, all 12 guardians must reach a unanimous decision - making a new addition to the clan rare and significant.
