The lighthouse on Confluence Bay has stood between the advancing glaciers and the coast for as long as memory knows. It's a rough building, craggy and towering, but sturdy. Its fire has gone out before, many times, but the stone remains.

The lighthouse is now maintained by the dragons of Cold Confluence, their name for the lighthouse and its settlement. They fish the sea and the two rivers that give Confluence Bay its name. They hunt the taiga and gather from the tundra. They watch their territory, and the ships in the bay, and their own with devotion.

The Confluence Bay clan comes from desperation- dragons that have flown far and seen the desolation of the endless snowfields, and the empty vastness of the ocean, and stranger things beyond these. And each of these wanderers has found Cold Confluence, and found some brightness in community.

They're a wary and hardy clan. And they do not intend to let the light go out again.

The current Beacon of Confluence Lighthouse is Electrum.
The matriarch of the clan is Marshfire.
