Welcome to the Clan of the Weathered Pale Bones!
Clan “Pale Bones”, or “Clan WPD” as it’s affectionately called by friends-- or “those heretical, conscientious objectors” by the less friendly-- was formed by Silsykion as a haven for dragons and other creatures seeking to escape the horrors of the ongoing conflicts between dragons, and dragons and other civilizations.
A wide variety of characters call this clan ‘kith’. Some are vocally opposed to Exalting and the battles for Flight Dominance. Some are old veterans wishing only for a quiet place to rest their heads. Some fled with nothing but their lives after witnessing the destruction of their lairs and homes. There’s even a noble Imperial line that occasionally gets the (wrong) idea it’s their clan.
Silksykios, the current clan leader, permits all creatures great and small sanctuary for as long as they desire, so long as they abide by two simple concepts:

- ”They who do no good works and are able, shalt not eat, though they be hungry.”
- ”Not in the sky, nor the sea, nor under, nor upon the earth shall a traitor find sanctuary from the Pale Bones. A traitor is known by their words and actions which knowingly bring danger upon the clan.”
