There is a place that has long been forgotten, it resides in between the Plague Lands and the Shadow Lands. In between these two lands is a horrid place, a bottomless chasm filled with death, disease, and darkness.

Once upon a time, there was a powerful witch who was outcasted to this dreadful place for her crimes of black magic. In her rage, she attacked and pulled unsuspecting dragons down into the unholy depths of this chasm where she tormented and experimented on them. She tore their minds apart, forced them to fight each other, starved them to the point that cannibalism occurred. The few dragons that survived this cruel process had no sanity left they became ravenous killing machines that were then further altered with a substance known as black blood. made from shadows, obsidian steal and black magic, these became the first black blood dragons. The cruelest and most volatile of all dragons. Their only joy is killing and destroying all in their path. The offspring of these first few black blood dragons where even more so. The offspring were so horrible they even managed to kill the witch that first created them. Now they slink around in the darkness that is known as {I need name help!} Breeding, growing their numbers, and killing all who venture too closely.
