The barren, cold and snowy landscape you see before you seems untouched and abandoned. Large, sparkling snowflakes float lazily down all around you, covering your footsteps as you go- and soon you realize that… it’s not abandoned, it’s not untouched. Any signs of life simply vanish under the unending gentle downfall of crystal-like snow.
But soon, the space opens into a vast, deep cave. The walls glisten with blue and purple tinted ice, the coated stalactites reflecting any light given off and send colours dancing along the walls and floors all all around you. The wind and crackling of fire echoes around you, up and down the vast tunnel, but besides that… there’s nothing. You feel like you’ve travelled for hours! Yet this tunnel felt unending.
Until a faint chatter can be heard, and a flickering glow cast and reflected on the icy wall of the corner ahead can be seen. You move towards it, and as you turn the corner something flashes in front of you. Then another, and another. You take another step, dipping past the low arch of ice pillars with sculpted, fancy carvings topped with the Icewarden's vague image. And that’s when you see it; Many, many dragons rushing back and forth, all types, all breeds all colours. Their scales reflect the light that the ice itself reflects, and that filters through the many cuts in the ceiling, casting many colours all over the massive cavern in front of you.
You are suddenly approached by a particular Obelisk, the shiny, purple accessories hanging all around her reflect the light of a nearby torch, bouncing rainbows all around.
“Hello! You must be new here. Welcome to the Crystalspire Caverns, home to many wonderful dragons. Some are even looking for new homes, perhaps you may yet leave with a friend. Enjoy your stay, and please refrain from causing trouble!” She says happily, before turning and heading off in the direction of what seems to be the nursery.
