Hello! I've been battling in the Coliseum for quite some time today and I haven't come across any familiars. They seem to be rather common (from what I've seen on the forums - correct me if I'm wrong?) so I'm wondering if there are any special requirements I need to meet to find them.
Or, if not, would anyone know the frequency they appear?
(As a side question, would anyone know the frequency that eggs appear in the Coliseum?)

I've killed over 1000 enemies and found one familiar so far.
So if I had to guess... there's about 0.25% chance of getting one per battle.
I've only found one egg too, so same frequency for that. ...needs more data.

yeah, they definitely aren't very common. i've been in a lot of fights and only ever found one, which was the death's head stag. i really hope i can get a nightsky furian!

I just keep fighting in the coliseum for various things. I got 5 after who knows how many battles. They just come by chance.

We have stats like this in account settings, but none for battle.

I'm up to level 7 in the Coliseum and I still have never encountered a familiar there. I bought my only one...

I got lots of familiars fortunately, 13 of them out of 2000 enemies. I suppose that's a reasonable number!
As for eggs... Nope, none till now, not from gathering nor from the coliseum, I bet the eggies thought I'm gonna boil 'em or something, they be runnin' from me like I'm a menace. :(

I'm wondering if levelling up dragons increases your likelihood of coming across familiars? On the days that I level up very many dragons in the training fields and woodland path I seem to find more. Equally, it could be that I fight more battles on those days since the lower level battles are shorter. By comparison, leveling up my 3 main fighters from 17 to 22 I've found about 6 familiars.
I think the people who find more familiars use two level 25s to level up a third dragon very fast in the higher levels.
