@Aequorin
There was no April Words on the Wind and it was announced to be out every month! D: Is it discontinued? :(
@Avessa, it is not. The registration window being what it was, some of my time on Words was spent managing the window. April's WotW will be in May and starting in June, we should be back on schedule.
@Geophagus They are cycled out. Not retired. Xhaz must have been tired. :) All the stuff posted to our site states "cycled" and as an admin I am confirming that they are not retired.
@Shiromisa Not something we allow. It's using our functions in unintended ways. From the TOS:
Quote:
The use of bots, scripts, or third party software that shortcut or alter site functions to run or appear in ways that are not intended by site design is not permitted.
Things like this can be potentially damaging to our site traffic, create bottlenecks, and cause a variety of unintended consequences.Stuff like this requires programmer attention to attempt to break the script or put in a check to flag accounts that use it for bannination. This kind of stuff takes development time away from the game. Please make suggestions, not scripts. Thank you.
Sorry about the app store redirects guys. I've done quite a bit of research on the matter, and even went so far as to block the app store as a possible landing page.
However, my research does not have a great answer. Basically ALL add networks have these app store redirects, they're a plague, and they're all in violation of the ad networks. They're not easy to find and really only the ad network itself can easily locate and remove the ad (the point at which they get to them is usually after the campaign has finished.) We're trying to locate the app store redirects, but it's proving to be problematic. :-/
We've reported the issue to our ad network and are waiting on a response. Our apologies for this hassle.
@rowleycm, when we're ready for another registration window we'll be posting it not just on the front page but all of our social media including reddit. We will give new and old players as much advance notice as possible.
Send me a PM with your name, address, and KS e-mail and we'll get you sorted out. All of the rewards went out (hundreds of them, haha) but if a few didn't make it to their homes we need to know so we can fix it!
Pardon me if this is a silly question, or if it's been asked before, but is there any possibility of the MP receiving more bundles? I've only recently starting shopping in the Gem section, and the apparel bundles are wonderful! And what about treasure bundles? I always wondered why we never had any.
Thank you for your time.
@Pardra, none that I am aware of at this time. I'll pass the feedback on to the rest of the team. :)
Sorry about that. You are correct. It is a combo of holiday plus new player traffic. One of our programmers has been doing some work this morning and we looking for where the bottlenecks happen and what possible solutions there are to each. Hopefully it's a bit smoother now.
Also:
1. the drop rate for the Sand Dollars seems to be really low in the coliseum right now, I've only gotten two for the past 15 minutes I've spent farming.
2. I just got a Sand Dollar from a Longneck Interloper (Earth) + Longneck Skirmisher (Wind) pair. Neither of those monsters are Neutral or Water element, which is.. pretty weird. :v
Sorry about that. Was still putting things into coli. Getting the entire festival up in the half hour rollover is tight! (that's why skins are usually introduced a couple hours after rollover. We tried for at rollover this time.)
Anyway, coli monsters should all be dropping their appropriate items. Longneck skirmishers and rambra were temporarily dropping sand dollars, but this has been corrected. It's been a long night. :)
This month, all of dragonkind come together to celebrate the Wavecrest Saturnalia. This festival commemorates the reclusive water flight. Their most prized possessions, Giant Sand Dollar, can be found by using any gathering type in water areas this week. Neutral and water element monsters also have a chance to rarely yield these items as drops in the Coliseum.
A large, flat sand dollar. These come in an array of pastel colors. This can be traded at the Festive Favors shop during the Wavecrest Saturnalia.

The Festive Favors holiday stall is now open for the duration of the holiday and you may trade in Giant Sand Dollar for exclusive items. It will remain open until the holiday comes to a close on Saturday, May 3rd at 23:59 server time.

Gem Shop Reminder:
Just a reminder that on May 1st, Wildclaw Scrolls and Ornate armor will be cycling out of the gem shop. If you had your eye on these items, now is a great time to pick one up!
Hello @DalphiaRose! We have some outstanding replies from players we've requested more information from. Please ask your friend to check their email(s), check their spam folder, and send us another message again from the email registered to the account in question, thank you!
@Wintermischief, Wildclaw scrolls will be available until 04/30/14 23:59 server time. As of 05/01/14 00:00 server time they will not be available again until we cycle them back in.
Hello @644171, I don't have answers for all your questions right now. On materials, they are good for swapping with Crim and for future features. The higher Gathering levels mean you have an opportunity to gather rarer items.
@nika, as a rule, we do not release detailed information on drop rates. Everything is RNG dependent. Sometimes it is a rain of wealth, sometimes it's moderate, and other times you wonder what it is you've done to offend RNG so badly (it's happened to me as a player :( ).
We do monitor the drop rates to make sure they are working as intended and if they are not, we will adjust them and inform the community in one of our front page updates.
Scarf Apparel
Colorful scarves have become the latest sensation among dragonkind! A variety of these garments have made their way into eagerly waiting claws.
"Where might I obtain one of these wondrous scarves?", you may be asking yourself. Blue & Brown, Cyan, Green & White, Pink & Purple, Purple & Black, and Red & Gold scarves can be purchased from the treasure marketplace. Rainbow scarves are stocking in the gem marketplace. Blue & Green scarves can be obtained rarely from coliseum monsters. Black & White scarves can be obtained exclusively from random chests and Pinkerton's generosity. Finally, Swipp has a stockpile of white & gold scarves he'll be willing to trade you.
