Rajava

Originally a Light outcast, the High Queen Arx roped Rajava into her inner circle, keeping him as a valued spy by night and a poor tradesman as cover by day. He is regarded by Arx as one of the smartest and most valued of her inner circle - some speculate he may be more valuable to her than even the treasured sage, Dajimant.

Strangely enough, Rajava was allowed to stay in the clan after Arx's fall. A clan full of imperials, believing themselves better than every other breed, and other, lesser imperials? What good was the sly pearlcatcher to the beautiful, monstrous beasts who ruled the clan now? Arx had been an imperial, but she was raised by guardians and had always been an outcast amongst dragons.

Rajava would never quite know why he wasn't executed or banished with his previous master. When he was finally permitted an audience with the shimmering new monarch, he asked why he was still around. The golden imperial stared him down with cold, white eyes.

"There may come a time when I need you," Heimdall said, aloof, "now begone before I change my mind."

Rajava had not spoken to the royalty since then. He spends his days in the company of the "lesser" breeds, forming an especially close bond with fellow pearlcatcher Dajimant. The two stay close, sharing secrets, though Raja knows Daji would throw him to the imperials if it meant saving his own life. It did not matter much to Rajava, though, as he would do the same. For now, though, they would enjoy each other's company and watch one another's back.
