Cinereus' Lair

Thistlecairn Rock is a volcanic remnant sea stack that rises above the Leviathan Trench, sitting on the edge of the shelf on one side and sloping more gently onto the top of the shelf on the other. It's run through with old lava tubes, some flooded and some not, which reach up to nearly the top of the Rock and down into the unknown depths of the Trench. This is the home of what once was the Thistlecairn Research Station, now the headquarters of the fight for the natural conservation of Sornieth.
