This looks amazing. The glowing really stands out. Full support for this! The post you quoted also looks pretty cool... but glowing/flashy stuff sticks out to me more. Imagine this dragon with the new starmap primary too...

It would also be cool if we had a secondary that put a sort of vein pattern on the wings, like leaves. Kinda like the Janustrap's leaves. Freckled pattern optional. A similar pattern could be the sort of two-toned/freckle thing the Leafy Moth's wings have going on.

Yes! That fish familiar looks beautiful anyway, so genes like that would be great :3
Roots / Leaves would be great prim/sec gene pair x____x We now have Petals/Butterfly and Bee genes but I'd also really like the same kind of pattern to secondary gene as Janus trap has on its leaves, less flowery/buggy thing than we now have. Would look amazing on coatls' feathers as every feather would look like a leaf, same with skydancer's feathers.
I've also wanted a scales/fins/(fins) pair or triplets x___x
Edit: I made a mockup of the leaves gene ^^' But it might look too much like butterfly -gene and it needs simplifying but you get the idea :D

I like the leafy moth wings just because the darkest color is at the center. There are few genes that start out dark and go to light, most are dark around the edges.
On another note, what about a secondary gene based off of a barn owl's wings? Look at this owl's wings, those small flecks of color could be really interesting.

I agree with the people suggesting leafy looking wings, it would be great for nature dragons and fall themed dragons! I think it would look really nice!

We have butterfly wings, but what about moth wings? The are some great moths out there. They could look something like the below so that they are different from eye-spot and butterfly
