Love this idea! Another name for is could be ‘mosaic’! Glass! Semi-translucent like Bee, so it's darker when something's behind it, but instead of the sparkly wing texture, it's soft blurred shading of glass.

Think this but now for the breed's horns and nails. It'd be a perfect exclusive gene, since not all breeds have good enough horns or claws for Glass to matter.
