Oh wow I absolutely love the flower spots and moss idea. Never been to this thread before but I kept thinking about a flower tertiary today and came looking for a place of suggestions - seeing the idea around is a boost of a boon More flower ideas! I'd love to see one that utilizes dimension and space like gembond does - rising up from the dragon and not just as colouration on top of skin. I love flat patterns too by all means, I'm just very interested in seeing more things done like gembond, but more uh... controlled? Cleaner? Calmer? A quick ideas example would be something like this, called either [b]Budding[/b] or [b]Bloom[/b] [img]https://i.imgur.com/liZ2aw6.png[/img] This is white/caribbean/lemon Flowers blooming from the dragon itself. Tert colours, with the tips coming from the same accent tone that makes the colour gradients in spinner? Not sure yet which would be better - spinner's accents or noxtide's accents. But it would save a lot of progens and other such dragons with wildly clashing terts, and it's not like it lets you slap any tertiary color onto a dragon - just the exact opposite of what it has. [/quote] Hold up, this goes PERFECT with the countershading suggestion! It could be an underbelly gene but with soft blended edges that also inverts the color! That way the name is both a reference to the natural pattern and a play on words.
