I just got thinking and kinda felt wasp/bee could use some spicing up.

Then I thought, bees pollinate. They carry pollen around with them.

Can we have a tertiary named Pollen, where it adds some powdery-looking residue on the dragons belly, arms and maybe face? Could be some on the wing tips too.

I'd like to see a net-like pattern all over the dragon.

Underbelly would be a really useful tert if it wasn't so flat compared to what the default belly pattern looks like. What about a flower design? Like, flowery shapes in a couple of spots? Either roses or hibiscus would be cool.

Or a vine design running up the body, maybe a little like Crackle or Circuit?

How about a dynamic gene like the new frog familiar. Nothing to elaborate.

Maybe like splotches on the body with some flecks on the wings. Every time you refresh there’s a new pattern. Maybe just out of three to keep it simple.

the layer(s?) for firefly should be above apparel and accents. (not skins obviously) i say this because it looks grossly unnatural once confronted with actual apparel. I'll be using my dragon Faillon as an example. he looks like this with no apparel; rather nice in my opinion [img]https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/272132074624778242/470442944219054080/13279947_350.png[/img] however, once confronted with anything that doesnt completely cover his fireflies... well... [img]https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/385826305851260939/470448456843001856/13279947p.png[/img] this... is potentally the worst for me. maybe its just on coatls, but if you need more convincing, i can 20000000% find more of these on different breeds. i love firefly, personally, but i cannot stand to use it when it clips so many apparel items. ----- i know it seems nitpicky, but ive had a hard time bringing myself to buy or even think about including firefly in gene projects because of this. ithink it would greatly improve people's opinions on the gene, and potentially settle some of the... unease, as you could say, with the gene as well.
