A patchwork gene that's a little like a cross between stain and opal. Fun and quickly adds interest without being overwhelming. Probably a Baldwin gene (In order: Shadow, nightshade, honey, hickory) This seems very artificial, how would this work in lore and be inherited? Well it could work as a genetic skin condition where skin becomes thick, cracked and discolored, stitching is done to prevent infection by closing the cracks.
Good god give me that patchwork gene now. I don't care about the lore behind it (though more and more Plague-like lore seems to be getting turned PG, so it may need to be worked on), I just need my plushie dragons.

This is more like plea for artists here... Can someone make some genes compatible with bee and wasp please? I was thinking about something which looks exactly like "wasp glimmer". It will be just changing colours... Something like this (Sorry for its quality.. hope you grasp the idea :D)

There are lots of terts that only affect the body. I'd like to see at least one that only affects the wings, to balance 'em out, and also more that affect both body-and-wings to a less over-all degree than crackle (the balance of thylacine, really).

I'd also love to see wing-affecting terts that don't focus on the edge of the wing, where so much secondary gene pattern happens.
This occurred to me as I was looking at my new gen 1 just now. What if there was a tertiary that looked like water ripples? My original thought was make it look like the dragon is underwater (or underacid, underlava, underoil, you know), with the refractions limited to the upper areas of their body. However, there are plenty of other ways this idea could be interpreted. You know, these:
I think that's a great idea. Unfortunately, I think with the release of Capsule, they may not go for this, since it might be too repeating.

It would be similar but not replicating capsule. I’ve seen it in skin entries but as a gene it might be a lot like crackle but who knows maybe the admins can figure it out.

okay, idea:

fissure or rift. it'd take the form of a large open crack across either the underbelly or back of a dragon's body (not sure which yet) - think something like a missing chunk, or similar to what opal does but in a single (but slightly messy, natural-looking) line and with more depth? the texture would likely be similar to crystal and facet. consider it something like a crystal ravine of sorts.

i don't have the time to draw my idea but i hope that's clear enough?
