Yes. If they wanted eye types to be a new, random feature they shouldn't have made the vials. But now they have, it's unfair to have them retired.
TOPIC | Scattersights brought back once a year?

Full support here. I didn't even know what it did and used mine on my derg, Halcyon. Well.... RNG was good, but he has FIRE EYES. I messed up, and now it's gone. Legit really want it brought back

I am but a garbage can filled with Undertale, Stardew Valley, and various Nintendo games. Enter my world at risk.
Full support. Eye types are meaningless without a way to actually obtain them on dragons that would look good with them. If the eye types are actually here to be enjoyed, and not just something to shrug at and say, "Oh, neat," when you get them on a fodder hatchling, permanently retiring the only reasonable way to obtain them is a disgustingly poor way to handle it. And frankly, "We think it's important" is NOT a good enough reason to retire them in the first place.
I understand not having them available all the time, but having them come back for at least a few days per year would make a world of difference. They can still be rare without being unobtainable. At this rate, they're just going to be used up or join the ranks of unbuyable items, at which point a great number of users (Gen1 collectors, basically anyone with old dragons they're attached to) will be completely shut out. What on earth is the point of having eye types as a feature if it's realistically impossible to obtain them where it matters?

I find it very interesting we got a couple of Light Sprites in Roundsey before we even got a single Scattervial there.

If writers are supposed to "show not tell," why are we called "storytellers" and not "storyshow-ers"?

full support. The implementation of the vials was poor to begin with, so they should not be retired, as it's a huge injustice to the FR community, in my opinion.
