Ok, one to many times I have gotten a new item and wanted to place it on a hatching, yet I can't. I would like it so that a hatching would have the ability to wear skin and apparel. If you could make this possible this would be great.

ALL hatchlings being able to wear ALL apparel would take the artists forever and ever to implement...
(All dragons can have familiars, hatchling or no, unless they're up for auction.)

Too much work for too little reward. This would dramatically slow down release of new items and breeds. As for skins and accents it would result in issues as the hatchings grow up.
About the only way this could work would limit it to hatchling exclusive clothing and user made skins/accents that only work on EY hatchings
As for familiars any age dragon can have a familiar

Keep in mind making apparel work for hatchlings would require redrawing nearly all 2,024 pieces of apparel for them. That's a massive undertaking. Skins/accents of course are made for specific genders of specific breeds, there's no changing any of those.
Apparel specific to hatchlings and only allowed on EY ones would be a good compromise.

Nobody wants to tell you why discipline is so important. Discipline is the strongest form of self-love. It is ignoring current pleasures for bigger rewards to come. It's loving yourself enough to give yourself everything you've ever wanted.
I support apparel specific to hatchlings, but not making all apparel available. In addition to cutting breed releases by a third, this would be the equivalent of introducing seven new breeds! The artists would have to draw nearly thirty thousand images to do this, setting everything else back by years.
Absolutely no support, especially since they're only hatchlings for five days anyway.

You only have to wait 5 days to do this.
If something is changed I prefer we get rid of the useless hatchling stage allover. Less work on breeds, faster rotation of dragons and you can do nearly everything right after birth - clothing, skins, training.

This would be cool and would motivate me to actually keep some EY!

i agree with the compromise.
However, I think there should be less items to wear for hatchling to dragons, because you could only wear them for 5 days, and then you would have to write a computer rule to put them back i the hoard instead of just mysteriously dissapearing.

All apparel, no. But hatchling-only apparel, yes. Maybe apparel that can only be used on permahatchlings?

Very much in support of this, but not of making all apparel hatchling-compatible. There are already enough complaints about the pace of new releases; making all apparel retroactively hatchling-compatible would take forever.
