We're good guys. They liked the hair concept and are trying it out in preliminary sketches of an ancient breed. A lot of things that needed changing were eliminated it's all cool.
Yay!

New breed with gobs and gobs of hair. That's what we need, a dragon where the secondary is all about those luscious locks. I present, the Rampion

What's so special about these? Their secondaries will she up on their wings, but the hair will be the mane event! Genes will be converted to look like patterns flowing through long fur, instead of leaving the hair basic like so many breeds do.
here's an example with peregrine:

Because this is just a suggestion, I don't intend brush up on my lineart sketches, but I will comb through this thread for feedback, suggestions, and gene requests.

Oh my gosh... this is amazing. I've always loved how the secondaries effect areas like fae fins, guardian beards, etc, but this takes it to the next level! I'd absolutely love to own a couple of these.

Berkshire
It has a long face, gracile form, and feathered wings. Prepare yourself for "OMG too much like Skydancer IMO"
Because that does it a disservice. Absolutely gorgeous! They're so sleek and glossy and amazing ploofy. I imagine they wouldn't be water breeds (img/ drowned rat) or lightning ones (static + hair for days = perma-frizz) but I can imagine filling my lair with them.

@Timiculous
The great thing about a suggestion is that staff picks whatever elements they find inspiring or popular to make a new breed, as far as I know, they don't copy the suggestion. So no worries that it's too much like skydancers, if staff take inspiration from it, their dragon would end up looking different.
I originally gave them flipperwings and gills and figured they would be in the water almost exclusively to let that hair drift in the current. But they didn't fit water overall so I made them more of an air breed.

So, what element do y'all think these guys should be?

Oh my god these are perfect. 10/10.
I would think they'd make a good Arcane breed, maybe? The radioactive Arcane magic mutated them into floofy fuzzy dergs.

On hiatus, again--might come on here to see how things are doing but that's all.

I would love this!
The only problem I can see is that some of the tail apparel might not work very well, but other than that I really like this.
