I did a little digging back and didn't find anything, so if this is already created, please direct me.
So I was actually pretty excited to discover that the energy stones (Scratch/Meditate/Anticipate) and Regeneration had gotten an "upgrade" of sorts. I actually use Irradiated Scratch on some of my Plague dragons for clan lore.
This got me thinking: If we can "upgrade" the energy stones/ability stones, then why can't we "upgrade" the augment stones and what they're capable of? This could give the Might and Acuity Fragments a bit more use (usable at a slightly higher level than 5 but less than 10. Level up for debate), as well as enhance/modify the Hybrid Fragments (usable at a slightly higher level than 10 but less than 17. Again, level up for debate) and enhanced/modified Berserker/Scholar (2 of the mighty level 25 stones that may come to be. Chances are that the admin have more in mind).
As to the modifications that the stones will apply, I'll leave that up to discussion and adjust this post accordingly.

I was thinking that if we could throw these [item=might fragment] of any element in to make one huge tablet, then maybe it would justify upping the stats more. Like 4 chunks of the same fragment since they seem to be part of a bigger square.
Not sure about the other fragments, but I'm sure something similar can be done.
Also, blended fragments to make more stones similar to these things [item=glass hybrid fragment]

Well there's obsidian, glass and, shale. I could see others in a similar vein with different stats for different elements being boosted.
As an example, a granite fragment boosting defense, mind, and vitality for the elements of earth, light, and ice. I can't see too many stats being boosted, it would probably need three-four different elemental stones for a hybrid. And higher level hybrid stones when those are mixed together again.
Of course all could be thrown in for a mega rainbow stone but that might be going into overpowered territory.
Throw in all three hybrid stones for a diamond hybrid stone. Makes no sense but pffft.

From what I understood, the stones that have alternates, scratch, meditate, etc. They are exactly the same as their originals. At least everything I've read about them has them being the same thing as their originals. If that's the case, then the other stones shouldn't be changed, other than getting an alternate aesthetically. A stone that looks different but stat wise, is the same.
Is there some kind of stat change I missed on these stones?

The current ones do not change the stats and it should stay that way. Honestly it's fine changing the look but not the stats.

@vihuff Using the Might and Acuity Fragments as an example (the ones not tied to an element), they would go from increasing an Dragon's stats from +1 to +2, thus giving them the possibility of being used by a player when they start training their dragon. The flip side (that I'm leaving up for debate) is that you may have to wait a level or 2 to use them.

Support for changing the looks, no support for changing the stats.

@Zalcoti Now THERE'S an idea. Maybe 4 chunks of the [item=Acuity Fragment] of each element could be made into a rectangular tablet of sorts, 4 of the [item=Berserker] could become a two-headed stone and 3 of the [item=scholar] could have the pages changed to a different colour and have different images on the pages. Like you said, this could justify upping the stats by a small amount.
And blending all the stones to create Hybrids like the [item=Glass Hybrid Fragment] [item=Shale Hybrid Fragment] and [item=Obsidian Hybrid Fragment] would certainly be something. Can you come up with an example for this?
