Partial support.
I like the idea of more fairly stating out dodge for our dragons vs monsters, but I also like the idea of a "defend" option that chooses to dodge. That way, it's still strategical and in control. Enemy monsters could also use this, unlike how none of them use defend now.

dodge is ruining the coliseum and the only reason i don't go there more often.
it makes it a very teeth-grinding experience.
glad league removed it. crit's next. i hope.

When I first started out in the coli I didn't understand why people were so upset about Dodge. It seemed fair to me: sometimes the dragons dodge, so sometimes the monsters should dodge, too. But the higher I get and the more often monsters dodge critical hits the more stressful it becomes. I can understand it's useful to keep the coli from becoming "too easy" but y'know, a little easier might not be a bad bad thing, at least for me. LOL!

Yes, dodge is annoying, and it would be nice if enemies did not dodge repeated multiple times in a row, but I have no issue with dodge existing. It generates an aspect of unpredictability, that keeps the challenge up and keeps the fights a bit exciting.
We are not entitled to strike the enemy every time we attack. That makes the game play too linear, too predictable. We should not be able to plan out every battle down to the move. That is honestly boring.
I agree with this. I especially don't want to lose when my dragons dodge incoming attacks. Both would have to be removed to be fair, after all.
Part of the problem may be the necessity of ambush/eliminate teams. Pretty much everyone is running that as there's no other option as valid. That means people aren't putting any stats into dodging rates (and I suspect our ability to dodge also affects our accuracy too based on observation). If the Coli had more options so people could try a variety of strategies, people could choose options to counter dodging as they seen necessary.
Plus, again, I really don't want to lose my dragons' ability to dodge attacks. There have been a few dodges that have saved me from being wiped.

I do not believe dodge should be removed. Sure its annoying to build up breath again but it's easy to throw a couple extra scratches in time to time on caster enemies before eliminating them. I want Coli to become more exciting, not less. :< While dodge isn't very exciting right now I feel a retooling of the system in general could be made to become better.

No support. I have invested stat points into agility on my grinders, and more often than not, dodge helps me more than hurts me. I grind exalt fodder in Kelp Beds and Geargolem Workshop, and a timely dodge by one of my dragons makes the difference between having a win streak and having to refresh since there's no hope of winning past that point. At most, enemy dodging has been a minor annoyance.
If they implemented this, they would have to refund everyone their agility stat points, since it removes half the point of having the stat in the first place.

Dodge is perhaps the most annoying and absolutely frustrating Coli actions. I'd be fine with it being lowered or removed.

No support, for all the reasons already stated. My main reason for wanting to keep dodge is that it adds some unpredictability, and then maybe forces some strategy for rebuilding breath.
I highly support the coli being retooled.
If the coli were made so boring that one could watch a movie while doing it, why have it at all? Why not just have a button that says "feed me?"
