You know, let's analyze this.
1) Eye color would be either random/not aligned to elements, like with beasts, or pure black, hinting at being a poorly veiled front for the Shade to get a clawhold on the world again.
2) Beastclans would completely forfeit ever gaining dominance. This one can't be overstated or emphasized - as it stands, if they get in the top 3, no one gets it. It's fine if no one is beastclan - just means that, since beastclans /always/ start high and slowly increase, you have to continue ramping up the competition.
But if there are active beastclan players who exalt dragons they don't want, we suddenly have people who will be picked on and yelled at for selling out and for ruining dominance patterns. MOST people who would switch to beastclan would be people who don't care about dom, but you'd have the few outlyers who went out of their way to hatch/exalt just to be jerks, then shrug saying 'you should have tried more'. This is a good way to cause a huge drama split in the playerbase.
3) Beastclans aren't a singular faction, but rather an alliance. Where would you be clearing space when you expanded your territory? We have many different sapient groups at play here, each with their own territories, leaders, lore/mythologies and languages - there's the harpies, the marens, the longnecks, the centaurs..
4) If you want to have beastclans in your lair... they don't interbreed.
I haven't seen any half-snake person half half-horse people running .. uh.. trying pretty hard to run around lately. There's no hippocampi, no wing-armed serthids. And since they didn't all arise as a result of directly related gods all alike yet different, I can't really say they're all the same species; they pretty clearly are not. So you wouldn't be able to have any crossover, forcing a TON of extra coding (and familiar confusion)
The way I see it, they're a neat contrast to the dragons, banded together in uneasy strife, but different enough to fall apart. So if you add beastclans, you'll have to break them down by species per area. And since beastclans come from varied tribes that range across the map...
--- Can we pick a dragon territory and have art/leader related to that place?
You know, I don't think so. There aren't 11 separate beastclan groups, and they have separate tribes that range all over depending on species. You can find longneck tribes in the desert. You can find them in the ruins, in the labyrinth, in the ice fields, and more. Similarly, you can find talonoks in eight different regions. And it goes on.
---But they're all one faction!
But for lore purposes and lair expansion/art, location is important. If it's to get beastclans alongside your dragons, SPECIES would be even more important for background art, nests, and what you get initially.
TLDR: I don't see this working in any possible way, but it's an interesting thought exercise.

no support, i agree that it should just be kept dragons, and that it would be too confusing...

After having read up on the lore, I feel a lot of sympathy for the Beastclans and more than somewhat uncomfortable with the position of the dragons even though it's all fiction. Whether or not there is an option for a Beastclan Flight/defeact option, etc, I think there should be some sort of balancing out between the dragons and the Beastclan.

This is a bit of gravedigging.
This suggestion also completely defeats the purpose of this site and of the beasclan update.
This is a dragon breeding site. You're here to breed dragons. You cound't breed dragons anymore when you could choose beastclan.
Also the Beastclan just act as NPC enemy. We had way to few competition in the dominance fighting. While no one else was pushing you practically got dominance handed to your flight. With beastclan we now have to fight for dominance even when all other flights are 'resting'.
Plus lorewise I can't see why you would run to people that murder old dragons as they murder hatchlings - they make absolutely no difference. Dragons? They prey on them and eat them. Beastclan? Well we have no loresource but i say they kill dragons just to be rid of them. I defenitely see them as just as bad as the dragons. If they don't eat the dragons they kill then they are even worse.

I get your point, and it makes sense that including Beastclans as an option
instead of dragons would defeat the purpose of the site as a dragon breeding and raising site. I mostly just feel that it has quite a lot of imperialism in the way that the dragons take over the Beastclans, with some of them fighting back mostly for survival.
"Well we have no loresource but i say they kill dragons just to be rid of them."
From the Encyclopedia:
"Dragonkind was forged to war and claim territory in the name of its eleven patrons. These giants tore through beastclan lands, their elemental magics and titanic size too great to stand against. Nations that had taken generations to build were obliterated and remade into wyrm caverns and roosts. Many clans were completely decimated. Those that remained were isolated from their bretheren. The beastclans were forced into hiding. "
Perhaps there could be a sister site someday where people join as Beastclan members and replace the characters as NPCs. Think of the combination of opportunities!

I certainly could see a sistersite like that. Just no beastclan option on FR.

Idk, it could be neat-- Though I think if this was a thing, exalting wouldn't count toward dom and instead of a dragon going to serve a particular deity, the dragon could just be cast out to wander and find/start a clan of its own.
No support for having actual beasts used in place of dragons, but instead it'd be cool if you got two randomized coliseum familiars based on one of the sentient beastclans (centaur, serthis, maren, etc) for progens. Eye color could be dull grey like the neutral/non-aligned coliseum enemies and therefore have no elemental super/noneffectiveness in battle.
Those are just my two cents. It'd be cool, but otherwise I don't feel that it's an important/necessary/required feature so it wouldn't bug me if it never became a thing, either.

I've thought about it before, and how cool it would be for people who don't want to be the 'antagonists' and are uncomfortable with the position that dragons are in. But i'm okay if it never becomes a thing because it personally doesn't bother me.

To me Beastclan is the NPC clan, it's an option for the admins to play a part in the dominance fights, to have their own push events. If you include players then you'd need to create yet another NPC faction...
