Support,
it sounds like a neat and usefull thing.
But as all breeds are easy to get a tthe moment. Why not work with %?
Plentiful 20% chance of 1 point and 80% chance of 0 points.
Commons 20% for 1, 20% for 2 and 60% for 0 points.
Uncommon 30% for 1, 20% for 2, 50% for 0 points
limited 30% for 1, 20% for 2, 10% for 3 and 40% for 0 points
Rare 30% for 1, 20% for 2, 20% for 3 and 30% for 0 points
And having some items cycle in and out.
Like every day changing the type of food at random (meat seafood, plant and insect)
The only thing I wonder is what will happen to said dragons?
I mean if they get traded to the shop for the possibility of points they need to have something listed where they are.
If the exhalt points are a posibility of dropping with normal exhalting then that problem is gone.
Also I can see bothe the merit of having the ability to get all items and that of special items for every flight.
So why not both?
Say one items is a flight mask for 50 points.
As a plaguer I only need to pay 50 points. However if I wanted a ice mask I would have to pay the base price and an out of flight tax so pay 75 points.
If you want the lower price you will have to trade items with the other flight but if you don't want to deal with them you just pay a little more.

Elapsam semel occasionem non ipse potest Iuppiter reprehendere
Not even Jupiter can take back a lost oppertunity
Support, I would start exalting more-and this kinda makes sense since I'm a newbie-although I haven't done any selling or exalting

We definitely need a sink for all the unused dragons, there are wayyy too many in circulation. Support.
Support for the idea in general, but not for account locking the items--it could be something like the Festive Favors shop, possibly.
Or! Lorewise, it could be boons from your god--possibly the shop is different for every flight, in that case--you earn your god's favor, measured in these "exalt points" and trade it for flight-specific special items? That would make the points naturally be account-locked, but the items not, and possibly be an added cost against flight-changes, since logically then you would lose what you have accrued if you switch

There needs to be something to alleviate the overpopulation of dragons. The admins won't decrease lair expansion costs, and said they're happy with the rate dragons are exalted, but it looks like the market will continue to be oversaturated until open registration is a thing. This would help a lot!

I actually really like this idea- and a lot of it boils down to the lore. There could be SO MUCH possibility for lore here- your dragon sending you letters and gifts from their time with their deity, deities giving favors, a form of prestige in dragon communities, war clans... There's a lot to work with here!
I'm sort of worried that this might result in mass exalting hatchlings or unleveled dragons, though. Is there any way to fix that?

I'd be a regular there, that's for sure
honestly this sounds like a great solution imo??
would make waiting a month to breed ugly rare pairs actually worth it

The different rarity groups could get different currency for exalting. The currency for common breeds would be worth less, resulting in a higher price, thus more exalted dragons for one item. Same for the uncommon and rare dragons, with rare dragons having currency that's worth the most.

I'm not sure if someone's recommended this, but what about having like...account buffs?
There are items and chests and stuff you can get, but what about the option to have like...bonus gathering turns granted to your account for x amount of days, or extra exp for a certain amount of time, mp discounts? Idk. Those may not be the best suggestions, there could be reasons to not do those, but the concept of buffs that expire for your account would give people reason to continue using the shop. Maybe? :,D

This is brilliant. I might or might not like a particular piece of apparel, but I would absolutely exalt dragons for extra gathering turns for a week. I would do it every week. Or if it required too many dragons for me to feasibly do it that often I would definitely make sure I had exalted enough dragons to get it during festivals.
Maybe this would be too complicated to implement, but what about a buff that temporarily cuts down your brewing time with Baldwin, or maybe Swipp gives you a small percentage off? Like instead of a stack of 60 items with the buff he'll do the trade for 55? Could this also be another way to get a Boon of Fertility? Or since it might get sticky offering things for Exalt Points that are also available for gems, what about a buff that gives you a higher chance of larger nests? Again temporarily. So for a week you get 2 eggs in a clutch that would have otherwise been only 1, and on up. Obviously still capped at 5.
I like the idea of Flight Specific cycling items but I think just items won't be as helpful. I've seen people suggest genes and that doesn't seem very effective to me since it only takes a couple weeks for a gene to be well saturated in the population and only a couple more for dragons with expensive gem genes to become cheap enough that you can buy or breed what you want without investing anything in a scroll.
