TOPIC | Change a Dragon's Food Preference
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 ... 14 15
I'm not sure if this has been suggested already, but I feel like I can already hear screaming over seafood and insects in the background.

As I'm sure we're all aware, the different dragon breeds have different diets. Some, like Wildclaws, like only meat - others, like Skydancers, like both insects and plants. Imperials like all kinds of food! However, this feature is largely neglected due to the fact that dragons will only eat from the very first food in their diet. This often proves to be a problem, meaning that Fae dragons might get the short end of the stick as their only source of food is being hoarded by Skydancers and Spirals, though both of which have alternative food sources available.

Something as simple as a button on the dragon's page which allows you to change its food preference (assuming that its breed is capable of eating multiple types of food) could be a nice addition. (I will refrain from saying "easy" as I'm not sure how difficult it will be to code and implement.)

EDIT: Suggested by @EnchantingCurse: Having dragons with only one food preference get priority over dragons with multiple food options.

I'd rather that omnivores eat randomly.

You can already control how certain species eat. Let your seafood stores drop to 0 so that your Imperials eat something else, then convert just enough seafood for your Coatls/Ridgebacks/whatever.

Support. Though instead of choosing the preference, i'd prefer that single food-source dragons eat first, the less picky dragons can pick up whatever's left.

Okay. I don't think it's a huge hassle or an unintentional feature, but I digress.

@Legolas I really doubt that they intended for people to deplete their food points and do all that just for the sake of conserving points that should be able to be conserved anyway.
