So, wait, I'm not sure if I understood this correctly, but...
I could just discard one- and two-egg nests and try for larger clutches? Since I always have dozens of dragons ready to breed, but no room for them unless I use the boons.
That'd allow anyone with a large lair to breed a lot more than they're currently able to. I'm not sure if that's a good idea..
Or would it only be usable after the nest has been fully incubated?

I support this 100%!
I accidentally bred a dragon I was going to sell, and now need to wait for the stupid nest to hatch. :(

Definitely support, although I honestly wouldn't mind being able to just kick one or two eggs out of the nest. But for simplicity's sake, just ditching the whole nest works perfectly well.

I could support exalting eggs for a super small profit. You'd probably have to incubate them to hatch-ready first to avoid mass-breeding.
I do NOT support discarding eggs or having them rot.

I vote yes to being able to discard a nest (even though I can't imagine ever wanting to do so) but NO to discarded eggs counting for Dominance. Folks with giant lairs could cycle through all their RTBs, which would be totally unfair. (And I'm not just saying that because I'm in the smallest flight, because y'all know you can't ever rock the Earth when the Earth stands firm. ;D If anything, it would just mean perpetual Earth dominance, since we have a number of very large lairs in our flight and the percentages would still work out in our favor.) As someone earlier said, working towards dominance involves sacrifice, whether that be of the lair space you have to use for Exaltees or the treasure to expand your lair past what you have to make room. Being able to immediately go for a larger clutch of hatchlings is boon enough without making them also count towards your Dominance ratings.

I think that if a nest is discarded, then the parent dragons involve should also still have to go through their cooldown period.

If writers are supposed to "show not tell," why are we called "storytellers" and not "storyshow-ers"?
Support! We should definitely have that option and I think it's a PERFECT way to explain unhatched eggs floating around the system as far as lore goes. Also I support being able to breed right away again. The cooldown period is fair because you get something in return; the eggs and the subsequent hatchlings. Take away the eggs and the hatchlings AND the ability to breed the dragons and you've ended up with absolutely nothing. It wouldn't be such a big deal if the dragon's cooldown time were all like 24 hours of something, but some of them are literally a month long.
Do not support: The discarded eggs counting toward dominance, since it's just far too easy to do and requires no real effort or sacrifice. (Unless you're giving up a nest you really want because you simply don't have the room, then it's more like a sacrifice, but that's beside the point.)

I just don't support discarding a nest and having the dragons being immediately able to breed again. It'd lead to this feature being abused. "Oops, my dragons only got one egg? Discard! Let's try it again!" It'd mean even more dragons on the market than we already have.
Plus I don't support dominance being a factor.

No support for being able to breed right away.
You discarding the nest needs to just be like exalting the eggs. No help to dom and maybe even no payout.
