However, he wasn't one to ever hold his tongue lest it be information regarding his next theft so the words spilled right out of his mouth. "How did someone as nice as [i]you[/i] become an absolute [i]outcast[/i] in your clan?!" He exclaimed. "I mean it makes complete sense for someone like [i]me[/i] as I am not the lovable type when it comes to poor innocent clan members who don't want an absolute kleptomaniac running around but when it comes to you?! How does that even work?! You're so shy and sweet and definitely sad considering your feathers are not bright... Is this why they aren't bright?!" Haven was just so confused and clearly didn't have enough information to understand the entirety of Shade's situation at home.[/font][/size]

All that came out at first was garnered nonsense, though eventually his brain did decide to return to working. “Ah, uh, it’s, um, complicated?” Understatement of the century. “Everyone just has a lot to do down at the base is all.” Granted, yes, they didn’t talk with him that much for the more obvious reason, though he wasn’t upset at them in the slightest at that. The comment about his feathers though... That threw him off. “I.... Don’t think so? They’re just... Like this.” Shade awkwardly scratched at one the vein-like markings on his hand, though he didn’t seem to realize he was even doing it.[/center]

In fact he pried into others lives nearly all the time or at the very least when it was possible. He sighed as they moved along. He stared at the ocean beneath them, wondering what treasures were hidden in the waters. Now that he thought of it, he hadn’t been home in a long time. Then again, was it really a home? He never felt at home. The only reason he stuck around Avolare for so long was because of Lux. Could Avolare be considered home? He wondered about it heavier than ever before for the first time in a long time. “Eh, it’s your situation,” Haven responded. “Well you don’t seem as nervous as before though so I guess I can consider that a plus.” Haven hadn’t meant to say that second part aloud but it simply came out as many other words did. He wasn’t embarrassed by it though when he realized he had said it aloud. Having no control over his thoughts was fairly usual.[/font][/size]

It’s pretty close to the shore so it’s easier to get from the main clan to there, since most live in one of those things.” Shade gestured at the many tall spires the rose out of the Arcane ocean.[/center]
