Bryn awkwardly patted Rhovull's back when the dragonborn gave him the bone crushing hug, adding the thirty gold to the ten that he was given before. He didn't fix the bar for the gold but he wasn't going to argue with the reward. He stepped backwards out of the tavern offering a mock salute to the ecstatic dragonborn to show he had heard and understood him.

The moon elf spun on his heel once he was outside heading out into the city to find a Inn to stay in, maybe they'd let him stay for free if he performed for a little while. If not then he didn't mind having to pay for a place to stay.

Trip stiffened as the gensai spoke, hoofing the ground again in irritation. She was feeling skeeved out and disgusted by the entire situation.

She flinched as Vak set his hand around her shoulders, still on edge, still feeling like she could attack any moment. But then she heard the calm in his voice, the cool and collected calm.

he would help her. At least for now. And that.. that was enough for her.

This girl.. was not worth her energy or her effort right now. Though if she showed up again and spouted off things she should not know. Trip would probably throw a sword at her head.

Feeling mildly better as Vak escorted her away from the madness, Trip sighed. "We should find a place to stay the night. I know a place. Nothing too fancy... but its toward the north end of town. I think they call it the Salty Unicorn." She giggled. "Kinda a silly name for an Inn, but they have good service, warm beds and food."

She clopped along on the ground. "I'll pay because of what i influenced earlier. As an apology for getting you in trouble with the bartender perhaps." she bleat-giggled, her ears twitching.

As the night progressed the stars shined through the clouded sky. Two moons that were partially covered now peered out towards the groups within the alley. It was quiet however the tension between groups somehow made this silent night loud like blaring sirens.
The whole night seemed to be longer and more stretched, weather it was a good thing or a bad thing. These groups that you guys found yourself creating seemed to grow distant from each other. Stress, anxiety, anger, kindness lurked within the groups. Which one of these groups have now increased by one.
A little, 3ft tall, theif. You found them trying to break into a shop of some sort to gather supplies. Their race is unknown to you and so is a lot about them however still treated them like family.
Vak, the half orc who has been holding onto the smaller thief now held them in his arms. He proceeded to say something, something that this stranger hasn’t heard in a very long time. With all that’s happening this kinda calmed them. Their orange and cat like eyes flickered up to him through the mask for a moment before switching away. They stilled seemed nervous but trying to get better.
Upon getting a better view of the theif you can see that any areas that would show skin is covered. Their mask covered their face, bandages covered their feet and hands, the bandages and clothing seemed to have collected dirt and had dark red splotches on them.
When the thought of going to a tavern rose the theif looked up and was kinda relived. Who knows how long it has been since they slept good. But this thought soon faded with the thought of being caught.
Until The mournful and stressed voice that came from the fire user caught the theifs attention. A being who controls fire, Fire hurts and destroys. But yet here is a person who wields it pleading for forgiveness, and breaking themselves. Maybe not all fire is bad. The little figure didn’t fully understand what was happening as they were worrying about their own things. But they did look out to them, and gave a kind of worrying nod before looking back towards the half orc and satyr.
(Hope this is good! Sorry I couldn’t include every character, I’ll be sure to next time. I’ve just been busy with school and other life stuff.)

The half-orc listened to Trip as they continued to walk away from the alley. It started with him doing more of the leading but soon turned into him letting the satyress take over when she mentioned knowing an inn they could stay at. "Sounds like a good idea to me. I don't much care about any names as long as they 'ave food and beds." He chuckled a bit. Although, Vak had to admit that it certainly was an odd name for an inn. Why was the unicorn salty? Had they killed it and made jerky out of it? You'd have to be pretty wealthy to be able to afford something that expensive to simply make dry rations out of. Hopefully, this place wouldn't be expensive, given his dwindling supply of coin.

Shaking his head as she offered to pay as being sorry for earlier. "No, ye aren't. I'll pay my way and the little one 'ere. Odds are, I'd 'ave probably broken it anyways." A chuckle rumbled in his chest. Vak paused for a moment as if something occurred to him just then. Turning his head to look at the thief in his arms, he continued. "That made me think. What'd ye go by? Somethin' we can call ye, since I'm supposin' ye don't want us to keep on callin' ye 'little thief' after all. Come to think of it, we haven't been introduced. I'm Vak and the satyress is Trip. Seems like ye'r stuck with us now, so ye might as well know our names." Another chuckle rumbled in is chest.

Looking down at the thief now, he just noticed how the only feature he could really make out about them was their cat-like eyes. The rest were covered up completely, as if they were hiding something. Although, he supposed that wasn't unusual for a thief. But then he noticed the blood on the bandages around their hands and feet. They were injured? "Oi, I don't know what happened to ye'r hand 'n feet but take this." With his free hand, the half-orc took out a small healing potion and gave it to the thief. "It's a healin' potion. It should 'elp ye."

Trip sighed as she continued down the street, leading them both to the Salty Unicorn. or at least where she hoped it still stood. her hooves clopping on the pavement, she shook her head. "I have more coin than I know what to do with right now. Think of it as a thank you for helping me back there. Going with my ruse and pretending to be my boyfriend for the sake of my own protection. You can pay the next time okay?" and if he stuck around with the thief, maybe he could. if he stuck around.

She crunched up her eyes softly as Vak offered the not cat person a potion to heal their bleeding feet. "Perhaps in the morning, we can go to the market, and find you something not stained with blood. I might have an extra tunic you can borrow in the meantime if you don't mind drowning a little in it." She offered. "I dont really stay in the market for masks though. No reason to ever hide myself considering I'm a Satyress... and pretty recognizable as such."

She slowed slightly so they could walk beside her now, shooting Vak a sideways glance for a moment as if trying to get a feel for him before turning left and coming to a stop before the inn. it had a battered sign that said 'salty unicorn' with faded lettering which had once been painted.

"Here we are." she smiled lightly.

Absolutely bewildered at the situation, Aspen stepped toward Onyx and laid a hand on her back, rubbing comfortingly. She watched as the other group left to find an inn.

"Hey, what happened here?" Aspen asked softly. She glanced at Shieldan, even though she knew he had about as much of an idea as she did. "You know what, let's go to my house for the night." Aspen suggested, she knew she had just met these two and they might rob her blind but she trusted them and didn't believe they would steal from her. Also, she didn't have much for anyone to steal anyway.

Onyx lifted her head and smiled. “Thank you. I’m not really sure what’s going on, I walked in late, tried to help, and messed up. You seem nice enough.” Onyx was wary, but not nervous. Aspen and Shieldan both seemed nice enough.

As Vak, Trip, and their new member make their way towards an inn to rest for the night, they made conversation and talked. Vak, the taller of the bunch, asked a question that the theif hadn’t even thought about. The looked up at him with a blank stare for a moment before looking away “I...had many names, good and bad. But if I got to be honest the best name I was given is Bazil . One of my old groups gave me the name.....” she gave a small chuckle before stating “ we didn’t really need names from where I came from”. She looked around at the area for a moment. Buildings stood high and low around you, some more rundown than others. Stores, homes, and other buildings stood on each side of the cobble roads that are more worn and torn.
Then a glass vile that held a bright red liquid was brought up by Vak. The moonlight passed through it giving it a almost faint glow to it. Bazil’s eyes flickered over to it, an intresting object that she hasn’t seen in a while, a long while. They sputtered out “oh! Um. Those are pretty valuable...I think. So you don’t have to waste that on me. Heh just got some bruises from locals and guards.” She tilted her head a little.
They then shift over to trip, who offered to go get clothes. They start to fight with their slevees “ maybe some clean bandages or something...but you guys don’t have to get me stuff. I’m not worth you money.” Bazil gave a small and almost awkward chuckle “ I would rather keep this mask than but a new one, helped a lot.....”
soon after you all approach the ‘salty unicorn’. Dim lights shined through the dusty windows. It was a bit bigger than the Crimsion lady but less ‘well made’. You walk In to see tables and booths all pushed to on side then a small counter towards the left where a young dwarven lady stood. Her hair was tired up into a bun and she had this round and cheerful look to her, despise this almost pure look she had arms of muscles and a look that has definitely seen some fights. She looks over at you and gives a small wave before going back to her book. On the far side of the room there is a stair case going upwards to what you can guess are rooms.

As Onyx, Aspen, and Shieldan stood in the alley, the group of three left. It was quiet and stressing. The sky looked over top of you almost like it was ink trying to suffocate you. Onyx, your worries start to flood your mind, what have you done, you made them leave!.....then it was silent. A hand gently placed itself upon your shoulder and looking behind there was Aspen. It was dark and quiet out but there they were. They trusted you and want to help. Maybe you’ve made some friends.

Onyx leaned into Aspen and started crying. “I’m okay, I’m okay, I haven’t had somebody- I haven’t had a friend tell me to stop when I’m panicking in years, I’m not like this often, I promise, I just get really paranoid, anxious, emotional, just , thank you.” She wiped her eyes and smiled. “Look at me, crying all over someone I’ve known for half a day. Fast friends, right?”

Shieldan kept quiet at Onyx’s question, not knowing the answer and instead pondering something, looking into the sky a little. His gaze quickly turned to Onyx when she began crying, however, and he gave her a pat on the shoulder with a misty hand.

“What type of hero am I? The hero who does not stop. No matter the odds. I will stop the ball an inch from the floor, and bring the fight back from zero. Be certain in my strength, and it will be unending. Lend me your hopes and your dreams and I will break through any wall in my way, stop any opponent that crosses my path, and fight back any force that opposes me!”
