"Guard post? Never known those to be very fun." The half-orc grumbled, recalling all the times he'd ended up being arrested by guards mainly for little stunts like the one he pulled in the tavern. Although, there was that one time some city guards were convinced that he was a criminal mastermind who ran a huge crime ring in multiple cities. Sure, his brilliant mind and dashing good looks might give someone that impression, but Vak didn't have the patience for such things. It was too much paperwork and too little fighting. He could really go for a nice fight...or some looting...or something fun. Having left without a plan in an unfamiliar city had proved to be not the best idea out there. Especially since it was so late at night.
At the mention of a clicking sound from Trip, Vak followed her down an alley. Well, he'd begun the day meeting someone in a back alley, so why shouldn't his day end the same way? Given his darkvision, he could see a small figure seeming to be fiddling with a lock. A thief? Well, this was bound to be interesting!
"Helloooooo! Do ye need help with that? A swift kick would probably open it faster!" The half-orc called down the alley loudly, walking swiftly over in the direction of the figure. "C'mon, Trip. This person obviously needs our help."

(Hey autopsy, giving you
this as a reference for satyrs. She does have darkvision for all future interactions ^>^)
"the point isn't to go into the guard post, its to ask who-evers manning it if anything interesting is.." She trailed off as the sound of something clicking drew her attention. Careful to try and muffle her hoof-steps but failing pretty miserably, she moved toward the sound and into an alley. Vak close behind her, she drew her sword with determination, readying for whatever it was to pop out at her. When instead, her darkvision gave her view of a small shape fussing around with what could only be a lock.
Sheathing her blade, she danced up behind Vak and grinned.
"Heyoo there little theif!" She waved her hand excitedly.
"What cha looking to steal? Anything good?" She tilted her head to the side.
"If it is, i want in. I mean some cool sparkling gemstones are always a good time."
She grinned toothily and turned to Vak.
"Actually didn't ask you if you liked treasure and gems and stuff. I mean i totally prefer cool things like my awesome enchanted broach." She struck a pose, which made her look extra dramatic due to the way her hair and cape were billowing in the wind.

Aspen gave him a concerned look. She wanted to offer her help again but she could tell he wanted to change the subject. She sighed. "Yeah, it is a pretty odd group but they seem nice. And yeah, as I'm sure you could tell by now, that armor doesn't belong to anyone, he's...animated I guess." Aspen chuckled a bit awkwardly. "Uh, so are you closing the tavern for a couple of days while you repair the bar, or are you just going to work around it?" She said, mainly out of concern but also wondering if she would have a few days off.

Bryn had been startled by the seemingly unprompted bar destruction, he couldn't help but stare at it as the two had rushed out of the bar. He chuckled at the absolute craziness of the situation once the surprise wore off, as he made his way over he picked up the little pieces of wood that had splintered and took a seat at the bar. He was intent on trying to fit the pieces back together like it was a puzzle.

Draconequis ok thank you so much! Sorry for the confusion I’m not the most intelligent when it comes to Satyrs ^^’)

As you both called out towards the smaller figure you watch as they take a quick glance and turns towards you. Their wearing this short cloak and baggy pants that’s been tattered and torn. No shoes but banadges. Their gaze lands upon the both of you but no visible eyes can be seen only a mask that covers their face. It’s a wooden mask that has aged over time. It’s not professionally made but enough to hide their face. They stare at you blankly for a moment, you couldn’t tell if it was of fear or curiosity. A moment passes..... then With a sudden burst of action they jump up, dropping their lock picks on the ground, and runs towards the opposite side of he alleyway. The side that they are running towards is a dead end with a wall blocking it off. As they make it towards the end they are met with the wall. They desperately try to climb it but climbing isn’t their strong suit so it takes them a moment.

Rhovull chuckles and with a calmer tone of voice “ that’s odd but to be honest his whole day has been a bit crazy.” As the mention of closing the tavern is brought up he thinks for a moment. Then with a sigh he says “ I don’t think so but I’m going to take it slow as we try to repair the bar.”. He looks around looking at what is left of the people in the tavern. His gaze meets Bryn. He laughs once more seeing him trying to repair the bar “ how about the both of you guys take some days off, I can watch over the tavern myself.” He smiled the brings out the purse of coins that the half-Orc gave him, taking 20 gold out of it and giveing ten to each of you. “I know this isn’t much but this is what I can give right now. Go out and buy yourselves something, it’s been a while since your last day off.” He gives a small smile and nods to the both of you.

(I'm assuming that because this person is climbing slowly that they would still be in arm's reach of a 6'7" half-orc lol)
Well, he certainly hadn't been expecting the person to run away. That really was rude of them when two people were offering to help them break into a building and loot the place. Where were their manners? It wasn't every day that the two competent people with an appetite for looting happen upon an inexperienced thief. Usually it was guards, or the owners of the building, or cultists. Okay, maybe not cultists but it could happen! Dark alleys at night were perfect for cultists. Man, he bet those cultists would be strong. Now he was hoping some cultists would show up. That would be a great fight. Maybe after the looting, though.
Recovering from his short day dream there, Vak wasn't going to let the masked thief get away. They were going to rob this place whether they liked it or not! Charging down the alley, he reached up to the climbing figure and grabbed them by the scruff of their cloak. Still holding them above the ground, he turned to face Trip. "Don't worry, I got 'em!"
"Now, I think it was pretty rude of ye to run when we're offerin' to help you break in 'n loot this place and that's what we're gonna do." The half-orc probably seemed incredibly intimidating at the moment, only half intending to. "Now, let me show ye how to pick a lock." As he spoke, Vak proceeded to walk over to the door the thief had been trying to pick and delivered a strong kick right above the doorknob, trying to kick the door in.

Aspen smiled at Rhovull. "Thank you. And good luck with the bar! Have a good night and I'll see you soon." She walked back over to Onyx and Shieldan.
"So, where do you want to go?" She asked her new friends. She had no idea where to look for adventure. It was also quite late, what were they going to do?

Trip had actually been expecting the lock-picking thief to turn and run. In all reality they were doing something that was.. not morally correct. And some might elect to turn this person in to the guards or something to be imprisoned. Trip was different. She wanted to know why they were trying to loot, or why they were going in to this place. Maybe it was just to steal things, and that was fine with her. Stealing could give a person a good rush now and again. But maybe it was something more sinister like they were trying to break in to save someone or something.
As they tried to climb, Trip prepared herself for some.. unorthodox acrobatics. She couldn't exactly climb like a humanoid, but she could jump a lot higher and using particular movements she could probably follow after them without much difficulty.
However before she could prepare herself, Vak reached over and simply plucked the running thief off the side of the wall. She giggle-bleated lightly as he insisted on helping this person and started attempting to kick the door in.
Staring down at her own feet she wondered if she could do the same with her hooves. But then again, he was being pretty loud and if they were trying to break in, that might not be the best plan ever. They could get found out.
"Hey Vak? You think you might give me a boost? I dunno if you can still hold our buddy and stuff and give me a boost.. but.. if there's something up there, i could get in the building maybe?" she paused. "Without breaking down the door? I mean thats definitely a way to get inside and quickly.. but what if guards come looking for us!"

@/Draconequis &@/AbyssRanger kinda short because I’ve been working on another character all day)
as the smaller figure ran and was about half way up the wall they were suddenly jerked off of it, losing their grasp. In a quick moment they looked up at the being who had grabed them, it was the Half-Orc. Upon holding this smaller figure they were surprisingly light and As Vak looked at them you could now point out another trait. They had these big orange and yellow eyes that peered out at you, they were like cat eyes but with fear and frustration. They looked away to see the satyr, what were they going to do with them? Hurt them? Kill them?! With these sudden thoughts and anxiety they started to kick their legs and flail their arms trying to hit the bigger half-orc. Why trust these people? Their liers! They won’t help! No help!
They hissed trying to escape the grasp of the half orc but the half orc over powered them with great force.

As the feline thief began to swing out, the half-orc help them a little further away from his body. More so as a precaution than anything else since it was unlikely hits from such small fists would actually hurt him. Why was the thief being so uncooperative? Weren't they just trying to break into this place? You'd think they would appreciate some good Samaritans making an effort to help them out. Vak just couldn't process this situation or the reason why the thief was not wanting to go along with the plan. "Oi, Trip. I think I made the kitty angry. Maybe ye should try talkin' to 'em?"
His head tilted slightly when the satyress mentioned that his plan of getting inside might not be the best when trying to not get caught. "Oh...right." He paused for a moment. "That's my buddy, Trip! Always thinkin'." He laughed, acting like the two had known each other for ages rather than simply for a short while.
Looking up as she suggested that he give her a boost, the half-orc nodded. "Yeah, I could do something like that. But what'd ye want me to do about this one?" He moved the hand that was holding onto the thief a bit for emphasis.
