Joel frowned and said with a deep voice that sounded dark, “Yes little Scribbles. A dark beast it was. With black, oozing tentacles coming off of it that at first looked like a main. A body of black and a sort of twisted demeanor. As if the dragon was only a puppet. Hallow of any identity but that of a beast. If you see one run and hide as best you can. Someplace they cannot reach you and wait. Help will come.” He gently patted Scribbles as he finished the little tale.

He then smiled softly and said with a much cheerier tone, “That’s enough of that. Tell me more about yourself. You seem like a very creative sort.”
Wisteria, Magnolian and Aster
Interacting with:
-Aelia~@ArachnidArcana
-Chara~@Dynami

Wisteria and Aster went to the edge. Aster was unsure but Wisteria let him know that they needed to. Then Chara went by asking Aelia something about a dragon. Aster went first, flying gracefully and keeping tabs on Wisteria. Then Wisteria expanded his wings and six giant black feather wings spread from him. He gracefully fell from the ledge and flew after his brother who followed Aelia.

Surprisingly Wisteria wasn’t hindered by the plants on him. The butterflies that were hiding in his feathers fluttered around him for a moment before attaching to his neck. Then he had lifted off into the air. As they went deeper he could smell the stench. Aster recoiled in shock at the horrid air but Wisteria was fine. He had a little section in his garden that was full of foul smelling plants. Some that only bloomed once every 10 years. He was used to horrid smells. Though he still didn’t like the smell of rot.

Magnolian kept flying around. He noticed on the horizon a dark forest that was cut off by a giant ravine. He frowned at it. Not getting any good vibes from it. He decided not to get a place that was on that side of the Gorge. Instead he tried to find something that wouldn’t be in the sun all day. He hated the sensation of being so far from his brothers. But he sense Aster’s extreme discomfort because of a smell and he was grateful to not be down there at least.

~~Marina - JoelJack @Skiie~~

After a few more minutes, Marina would wake up again. Looks like she was done with her nap for now. She looked around at where they were now, fairly confused. She'd also start to get a bit hungry as she started to gnaw on Joel's horns.

Hi! Feel free to chat with me, I'm always happy to meet new people!
Aelia Mentions: @/Dynami @/Skiie
Aelia was about to head down before she heard the question, thinking for a good moment. "I can't remember anyone by that description... Sorry, this place isn't as common of a place to be as it used to be." She nodded to her before turning to follow the two Skydancers down. She didn't seem so bothered by the smell, she had to learn to stand it when collecting maggots for food. "It's around the very bottom." She took off ahead, quickly finding it. The color was black and it smelled like death and mildew - now she was using her hand to cover her masked nose. If you looked closely at the water, you'd see what looked like long dead meat bit floating in it, if you could even tell it was that with the mold covering it.

Aeakcys - Inferno Desert - Traveling with Moukaite (@OnyxShade)

Aeakcys sighs quite loudly before responding. “Moukaite, you know that I can’t fly. Please in the name of Stormcatcher stop telling me that every time we travel.” He whined slightly. He then proceeded to use his wings as shade for the both of them, the only reason why they were still useful.

Joel smiled and laughed a wonderful laugh. He was quite happy to see this little one in such a joyous mood. “That sounds wonderful! Perhaps when we get back home you can show what you can do!” He chuckled some more and flicked his tail in amusement before noticing Marina starting to move.

“Hmm?” He looked out of the corner of his eye to see her gnawing on his horn. He chuckled a little and said, “It seems you are hungry little one.” He gently grabbed her, getting her to stop gnawing on his horn.

Once he set her on the ground he took off the bag and gently opened the little flap and took out the little cricket. “Here you are, Marina.” He knew she couldn’t hear him but he said it anyway. Handing her the cricket.
Wisteria, Magnolian and Aster
Interacting with:
-Aelia~@ArachnidArcana
-Chara~@Dynami

Wisteria couldn’t see the condition of the water but he could feel the death coming from it. There was rot and all manner of horrid here. He folded his wings, causing more pollen to fall. The grass and flowers that sprung up started to instantly die. He noticed through his senses. His butterflies going back to hiding in his feathers. The water was poisoned more than just the horrible rot. There was another, darker thing in it. It was in the soil too. It was twisting the soil, making it near impossible to grow anything here.

Aster recoiled in disgust and horror at the scene in front of him. The water was far worse than simple swamp water. It was as if an emperor had come through here. It would take far more than one hour to purify that water with the plant. He looked to his brother, wanting to pull him away immediately. He would if his brother got too close for his own comfort.

Meanwhile Magnolian had found a decrepit home that was halfly carved into the wall and halfly built on the wall. It was big enough for the three of them and was a good distance from the twisted forest. There was complete desert behind it so no sneaking up on them and it was a distance from the lip of the gorge but far from the horrid bottom. He started to clean it out. Shivering at his brother’s discomfort.

Back to Wisteria he thought. Coming closer to the water and even touching both the soil and the water. Hoping and wanting with all his heart for the twisted magic to go away. Hoping that he could use this soil and help make the water a little better. He wanted it so badly.

Then... suddenly his paws started to glow near white gold. It was blinding to Aster but Wisteria couldn’t see. He could feel it though. A weird power was coming off of him. The water didn’t look so dark anymore and the soil around him shifted and looked healthier. Once it was done his paws stopped glowing. He smiled before suddenly he felt really weak.

Aster came up behind Wisteria to help him keep steady. Wisteria was out of breath but smiling. He gently asked Aster to get out the three seeds of the plant that he needed and to plant them accordingly. Aster took a moment to get Wisteria away from the disgusting water. Once Wisteria was safely away he did as told. Though he held his nose while doing it. His eyes watering. Once done he cupped his paws for the pollen.

Spreading it onto the planted areas the little sprouts came to be. They started to grow quickly and now, there were little gords hanging off the stalls. Each was small but suddenly filled with water. The edge of the pool near them, shrinking away before filling back up with more water. The gords were a sort of defense and emergency supply of water. Since other creatures benefit from the gord.

He went back over to Wisteria, fearful for his brother. Wisteria said he was simply tired and needed to rest a little. Aster took out some of Wisteria’s rationed plants and had him eat some. Wisteria was strong and easily ate the fragrant plant. He was feeling better already. He touched his paws, wondering where he had gotten such power.

Marina chirped happily seeing her cricket, and took it from him before munching on the little snack. When she finished gobbling up her snack, she smiled, and babbled something in an attempt to try and say thanks.

Hi! Feel free to chat with me, I'm always happy to meet new people!
|Archi|Haven|Fallen Forest|
Mentions: @Skiie

He hurried along the route he usually took. It was thick with bramble and dead bushes that used to be full of life. He trotted quickly, though he had no need to hurry along. He knew it, but he guessed he was just eager to get there. Just because he had a turning in his stomach doesn't mean something's wrong. But what if there is?

He shook his head, clearing the thought from his mind. Nevermind that. The rest of the walk was rather quiet. The only thing he really thought of was how hungry he was, though a lot of dragons in the Haven was hungry, there's barely any food around here. He sighed, slowing his pace.

As he neared the mountains, he came across a path. It was rather clear. Much of the trees hadn't grown in its way, but bushes were here and there. It was clear enough to look like a path through. He paused. Why? He didn't know. He hadn't really seen this path before so he decided to stare for a moment. The longer he stared, the more he felt like he heard voices. He quieted himself, slowing his breathing and raising his ears in the direction. He then listened carefully. His eyes widened, someone was here!

He went off the path, further into the brambles and few live bushes. He couldn't hide well. He was light blue and vibrant red in a forest of gray browns and greens. He tried to stay stealthy though, staying low in the bushes and bramble to hide himself. He neared the voices. It was children and an adult. He could tell by the pitches. As he came closer, they moved into sight. He dared not get closer, they might hear or see him if he did. At this distance, they would have to have super-hearing or look reallyyyy hard. He watched them silently, trying to figure out what was happening. They seemed friendly, but he couldn't take any chances. So he sat for a few more moments, he wanted to be careful after all. The shade could be lurking in every corner.

She stared down the cliff, seeing that the end wasn't extremely far down, but far enough to break a bone if you can't fly, and she can't. So she decided to just settle under a rock crevice that was nearby. She carefully climbed down onto the ledge that was a little way down from the top and huddled in the small crevice. It was barely big enough to fit her, but she managed it. At least it kept her out of the scorching sun.

Dusk, though, glided and landed on a ledge on the other side of the canyon. He lay on it as if the sun hadn't bothered him. It was amazing how they could withstand this heat. She wished she had feathers like him, it would be useful right now.

Mentions: Interact with me :,)

He watched as the water had begun to boil. Steam rose from the container as it heated up. It was collected on a panel above the container which was tilted at an angle. The panel grew thinner as it went down, leading to a bowl he had at the end. He had learned the trick from his clan. How to purify seawater. It was wonderous and almost magical how it transformed. He could almost taste the water that was being collected and his mouth began to water, a telltale sign of impatience.

Aelia Mentions: @/Skiie
Aelia made a soft noise, closing her eyes and turning away when the blinding light filled the area. As it faded away she turned back to see thriving plants come up, blinking a few times to make sure she wasn't hallucinating. No, the place was growing plants. "Gods... How did you do that?" She hadn't seen anything like that her whole life. The death smell still permeated from the dens, but it was easily covered up from the plant smell - that refreshing plant smell that she hadn't smelled since this drought started. This felt like it just became an oasis.. If only her clanmates were here to see this...

Charoite Mentions: @/ChickenDinner (ey :D)
Charoite shook his head, feeling the headache clear away, he was still in control. He looked around, seeing a canyon and a dragon (Idry) in the distance - a dragon, right? He slowly started to approach, keeping a distance like a curious deer, ready to bolt at a moment's notice. It was obvious that he himself was Shade-Touched, but he couldn't tell with the other - his clan was attacked at the beginning and he didn't get to see them before he blacked out.
