Joel frowned and said with a deep voice that sounded dark, “Yes little Scribbles. A dark beast it was. With black, oozing tentacles coming off of it that at first looked like a main. A body of black and a sort of twisted demeanor. As if the dragon was only a puppet. Hallow of any identity but that of a beast. If you see one run and hide as best you can. Someplace they cannot reach you and wait. Help will come.” He gently patted Scribbles as he finished the little tale.
He then smiled softly and said with a much cheerier tone, “That’s enough of that. Tell me more about yourself. You seem like a very creative sort.”
Wisteria and Aster went to the edge. Aster was unsure but Wisteria let him know that they needed to. Then Chara went by asking Aelia something about a dragon. Aster went first, flying gracefully and keeping tabs on Wisteria. Then Wisteria expanded his wings and six giant black feather wings spread from him. He gracefully fell from the ledge and flew after his brother who followed Aelia.
Surprisingly Wisteria wasn’t hindered by the plants on him. The butterflies that were hiding in his feathers fluttered around him for a moment before attaching to his neck. Then he had lifted off into the air. As they went deeper he could smell the stench. Aster recoiled in shock at the horrid air but Wisteria was fine. He had a little section in his garden that was full of foul smelling plants. Some that only bloomed once every 10 years. He was used to horrid smells. Though he still didn’t like the smell of rot.
Magnolian kept flying around. He noticed on the horizon a dark forest that was cut off by a giant ravine. He frowned at it. Not getting any good vibes from it. He decided not to get a place that was on that side of the Gorge. Instead he tried to find something that wouldn’t be in the sun all day. He hated the sensation of being so far from his brothers. But he sense Aster’s extreme discomfort because of a smell and he was grateful to not be down there at least.
