Her name is Delphi (so unoriginal, I know) and she's my clan's mystic. The thing is, though, even though she was 'blessed by the Arcanist' as others often tell her, she feels like a fraud, as she isn't nearly as good at foretelling and prophecies and spells as she's expected to be. She's nervous and finicky, for the most part reclusive. Dragons come from clans all over to get fortunes read by her, and she has to work hard to keep her mouth shut before she compulsively tells other dragons how rubbish she is.

Whispers travelled far in the clan's camp, curious murmurs about the newcomer as the dragons kept to their dens and establishments. Rumors had passed prior about interest from quite inquisitive beings, beings - undoubtedly with the appearance of this long serpent - that seemed unfit to wear the visage of the dragon species' of Sorneith. He'd revealed himself in a flash of lightning, the gildings and dressage of gold as well as those bright eyes allowing him to stand out in the darkness of the storm. He'd arrived seemingly out of nowhere and with no clear intent besides vague eagerness. Even so.. Pythia had shown no unwelcome to this certain visitor.
He'd taken to stopping at the home of the clan's resident seer, front talons pressing together perfectly trimmed claws as he bowed his head. "Thank you." He smiled at the other dragon with his lids halfway over his gleaming optics. Upon their leave, he turned to face the lair, spiral body following along in a few swirls to catch up with such brisk movements. He clasped his talons for a moment as he contemplated his next words, before slipping one out of the other in order to make his way inside.
He was certainly not disappointed by the stunning sight before him. Eyes of stunning purple stared right up at his own, marked by what he assumed to be what the others claimed as "the blessing of the Arcanist." He slithered completely inside in another twirl of his body and gently shook the droplets of rain from his adornments and soaked yet shiny scales. A yawn escaped him through a puff through his nostrils, and he opened his round eyes completely once attempting to abandon his tire. He presented himself proudly to the nervous fae before him, giving her a small smile.
"Forgive my laze, please." He spoke finally, one talon atop the other as he began to settle in. "O-oh, it's no problem.." The smaller one would say, starting to near warily. The keenness of the spiral became gentle, by his grogginess and by her behavior. "I would hope not - and I would hope not to cause you any nervousness, my dear..." The words would make Delphi return a tiny smile, and her own claws would be brought together shyly.
"I come curious of my fortune. Impart such a gift to me, will you?" He queried, now looking at her with inquisitive interest. Delphi's smile faded at that but she nodded slowly, now encouraged to give it her best in the presence of a hopeful gentleman. "V-very well..." She began, reaching out gently, "Your palm, please." She requested, anxiety now filling her up again as her eyes flicked about his form, but she hoped to maintain a steady posture. She placed her claws upon his now outspread palm, watching him look down upon it with interest.
Delphia let loose a soft sigh as she calmed herself down, easing herself into contact as her eyes closed. A moment of silence fell over the two as she began to feel the very wrinkles inside his palm, before sliding her claws out from it and retracting timidly back to her own self. Her brilliant optics finally emerged from the lids once again, and her runes glowed - yet she bore no smile. She looked to the ground, allowing the quiet to persist, knowing the spiral was watching her hopefully. Eventually.. she came to speak again, "Your.. y-your fortune.. is of gold.." She stammered, now gazing about his shiny body in hopes to find things to fuel her imagination. Her reading was blank.. but she couldn't dare disappoint the male.
"I-I saw golden, enchanted leaves, leaving the trees as they followed you.. a-and.. how you soared into the new sunlight. You brought light through the darkness.." She shuddered quietly, her wings slumping as her frown strengthened and another sigh left her. "I'm sorry. I-I'm really sorry. I'm absolute terrible at this..." She said just above a murmur, clasping her own talons in dismay. She looked up, however, upon hearing the smooth chuckle of the other dragon. "A lovely one you spun up for me ~ do not feel so ashamed. I say, all you need is practice, my dear."
He slithered up to her, smiling. "A blessing is a wondrous thing, but it must be harnessed, practiced - yes, in order to truly utilize it. In time, perhaps.. you may be able to read my palm fully. I do, however, quite adore the creativity ~ it'll certainly help." A free finger became the perch of a golden firefly, and he offered it out to her. "Forgive my ramblings, but I wish to see those powers of yours come to fruition someday. Will you accept my gift, my dear? Let it be a light to encourage you." Wordlessly, Delphi reached out and the firefly came between her hands, illuminating her colors.
"Another day we shall meet - and I look forward to it. Ta ta for now, my dear." The fellow turned, carefully winding up his many coils in order to afford her continuous space as he left the den. Faint flapping sounded from outside as the spiral took back to the stormy skies. "Be careful, please!" Delphi called back, but as she looked into the clouds, he'd disappeared. Another little smile returned to her as she gingerly held the firefly, wondering if the curious serpent would actually come back again.

@DeathDino That was fantastic, thank you! You've actually given me a lot of ideas for her, lore/personality wise. And Cedrique is an incredibly interesting character as well! On top of having an awesome name. Now i gotta get a firefly familiar for Delphi xD
Also, would you mind if I briefly mention Cedrique in her lore? (Once I actually get around to writing it, that is)

A dragon that has closely bonded with its firebug may be able to use its sight for short periods of time. It's a pity its vision is terrible.

Kestral is the captain of a ship called the Ashen Rose, of which she and her crew take down smugglers and traders, and save hatchlings and dragons stolen from their homelands. After an unfortunate run in with some ancient artifacts, a lich/spirit named Adi inhabits her body with her. Adi can still communicate with her, but agreed to stay out of sight unless they were in danger.
Kestral is respected and feared on the seas, often told to be ruthless and cold. However, she is kind and caring to her crew and anyone in need, even if she's intimidating to everyone. She can be a little socially awkward with cute dragons, but still tries her best to be courteous and polite whenever she can.

The ship rocked incessantly against the constant churning of the waves in the vast seas outside. It shook and creaked, turning in swift motions in a struggle to get back on track. The faint storm seemed to allude trouble for the deck - and none were more worried than the poor captive below...
The dismal black swallowed up the form of the dragoness as she held herself close to the wooden make of the ship's interior. Her lanterns had dimmed, no longer illuminating her body as she felt the hope begin to fade. Out of all her predicaments, none were as harsh and troublesome as this one - she'd stolen away to the wrong trade encampment this time. She was not cold, but she shuddered from sheer fear and worry, wondering if the others would ever find her so far out into the ocean...
She cuddled against the wolf skin that still covered her face, finding little comfort in the silky furs of the long deceased creature. Her eyes stared upon the ground, but soon glanced up quickly when she heard things on deck. The ship had steadied out slightly, rocking only with the waves as before, and brief chaos of banging and shouting dissolved into silence. The thunder echoed, but quiet had befallen the ship, and Glacia began to fully stir from her captivity. The chain along her legs jingled as she sought to move forward.
By now, she heard faint voices and slightly thumping steps. She withdrew suddenly as the steps began to draw closer, descending down to her level of the ship. She peered cautiously through the bars caging her in and waited for whatever it was to find her. She was scared, but held onto the hope that it would be kind to her - that it would free her, and save her. That much made her lanterns brighten slightly from their inactivity upon the floor.
Red. So much red. Why, it was bright enough that it felt as threatening as the sun to her precious ice, to her own body. She shrunk back as the figure spotted her in the time her lanterns had gone out once again. "Please." She whispered, watching as the dragon clad in captain-like and quite ghastly attire approached the bars. "Please..." She repeated anxiously, claws tugging on her cape.
She found that she was staring into the crimson optics of a dragon just like her. A Skydancer, she knew they were called. The other female looked upon her with a gentle gaze, using the ghostly appendages to unlock the cage that held the frightened yet awe-filled Glacia. She quickly took the talon offered out to her, allowing the captain to stand her up with near ease. The other placed a free talon upon her shoulder, soothing the shuddering deity. "Calm down." She said before glancing down to the bindings. In mere seconds the appendages returned to work and freed Glacia.
Before another second could be wasted, the captain spoke, "Right, then. Let's get you out of here." Though it was clear that she held a similar nervousness as the much more icy-in-contrast 'dancer, whether due to the appearance of her or because of the storm, she still came across as calm under the circumstances. With a talon still placed upon the shoulder, the captain began to usher Glacia out and only gripped slightly more firmly in order to help her about. The lanterns were back up from the floor and had been glowing ever since the escape, mirroring the deity's satisfaction at the turn of events.

Glacia was much more comfortable on the other ship; knowing that she was no longer a captive and would hopefully be seeing home soon. She gazed into the ocean with intense inquisitveness, watching as the waves lapped at the ship, now having calmed significantly. Her own talons rested carefully over the railing, but she barely noticed how close she was to the edge while so intrigued by such waters about.
"Don't go overboard, now." The captain said with a smile as she took similar position to the side of Glacia, a little bit wary of being so close but ultimately hoping to persist in a conversation with the other dragoness. A moment of silence passed after a sound of quiet amusement from the icy one, and the captain toyed with her claws as she contemplated her words and whether she'd regret saying them or not. She looked out to the sea and finally half-murmured, "I'd hate to lose you. Yes - um.. you're too good to lose."
"Is that what you say to all of them?" Glacia looked back over, meeting the wavering gaze of the captain as she stared. A soft exhale left the red 'dancer though it was something of humor as well. "Hah.. no. No - none of them are as pretty as you." She gulped subtly as Glacia shot her a gesture of mixed appreciation, a faint blush upon her cheeks, but one of awkwardness as well. "I mean, obviously I'd not want to lose them either.. but you are.. pretty."
Glacia smiled, the soft pink blush just slightly visible under the helm intensifying. "Thank you..." She said with her head slightly dipped in a motion of shyness, her lanterns luminating further for a moment. "Well, of course," The captain continued, inching ever so slightly closer, " your name, anyway... I mean, I'd like to hear it." The captain looked upon the now bright-eyed dragoness with a bit of a tilt of the head.
"Glacia.. What's your name?" "Kestral." Kes answered a couple moments later, content that she was starting to grow more assured in her words. "It's really nice to meet you, Kestral. Do you think I could stay here a couple days - ...you know, before I h-have to go home?"
Kestral smiled.
"Please do."

"Please do." @PythonVibes | I hope you enjoy this one!! I did my best to capture Kestral and I really hope I did her justice.

She always acts very cheerful and manages to help her friends feel better in the darkest situations. In reality, though, she struggles with happiness and puts on a "mask" to prevent others from worrying too much about her since she wants to stay strong for her friends. Faar has had goals in the past, however she often ends up losing motivation to reach them within a week or two. She is a bit clingy and does have jealousy issues at times. Faar is also talented when it comes to singing and wants to be a singer one day, and that's actually one of the longest goals she hadn't given up on. Currently, she is exploring Sornieth with her brother Tunneler and her best friend Rhianna (Rhianna's a guy since I didn't check before accepting the random name given), but Faar is losing motivation to explore, and feels very guilty that she kind of dragged her friends into something that probably wouldn't last. She's pretty anxious about these sorts of things.
You don't have to do one for her, but if you do, there's no rush to get it done!

The night forest was just as lively as it was during the day - but this by no means made Faar feel any safer. Though her eyes followed the glows of the cute fireflies as they passed by, she would always be drawn to crackling of dry leaves as steps came over them. She'd gotten herself stuck once more - a desirable moment of thought amongst the calm, dark forest allowing her to get tangled up all alone. She thought about calling for her friends.. but they needed rest after the last exploit. She'd figure this out. She had to.
Her head rested on the cluttered floor, occasionally dragging to the side as her body writhed in the attempt to release herself from her own clutches. How she managed to end up in such a feeble position baffled her in the first place.. her broken tail hung limply over the coils of her body and the moment she finally was able to swing it off it fell to the ground with a painful thump. Faar stared ahead in defeat, sighing as she continued to desperately twist and shudder despite the pains it brought her.
She heard the footsteps again. They were as quiet as the rest of the forest beyond the bugs at first.. then they neared. Each fall was slower but closer than the other, and it just kept coming closer and closer. She prayed, oh she hoped that it was Rhianna more than anything else in the world. Yet her eyes caught a shadowy form that couldn't be any more unlike that of a mirror's...
Bows of sparkling green shimmered upon illumination of the firebugs, but it helped that runes danced about his body in intricate fashions that framed his slick coat and the tiny lanterns that were suspended from the ribbons. Eyes of glinting yellow light like the flies about stared upon the knotted spiral. A small smile crept onto his beak, and his eyebrows flattened out over his optics as he assumed a very amused gesture.
Faar gave him a small smile - the benefit of the doubt. He did not oppose himself as a threat, but quite a charmingly humored dragon. "Stuck, are we?" He rose a single digit to his chin as he chuckled softly upon looking her over, genuinely humored by the condition of the female and further giggling upon her embarrassment. "W-well.. yes.. I am." She sighed, "Could you, um, please help me?" She said with a hint of quiet, inching slightly towards him.
The skydancer had since set down his talon and shook his head at her with a little 'tsk tsk'. "Of course, darling." He approached the wide eyed spiral and settled his weight onto his back legs, rising up in order to gain the freedom of those frontal. He took the many coils of her gently into his smooth palms, cocking his head to the side as he picked up his tail. She winced, earning a glance from the male as he moved it slowly over the other coils to do his work. "Ah, apologies, darling.. but quite the predicament you've gotten yourself into. Hm hm." He let out an airy noise to continue his amusement.
"You're lucky to have me here ~ why, I'm already almost finished." He had settled some of her body upon the floor, but kept his arms snaked around other areas in order to draw her closer as he worked upon the last two tangled coils. "Thank you..." She said with a relieved smile, which faded as a little 'oop' left her maw when she finally found herself free - but not quite. Her neck landed upon one of the 'dancer's palms while the other one was near her legs. The runed one looked upon her with a persistent smile, a pleasant gesture before he began to help her over. "The name's Chime, by the way. What's yours, sweet thing?"
She found her bearings once more and slowly turned back towards him, inclining her head as she fought to hide her growing blush. She stared back at him with a perk of the lips like his own motions. "Faar. It's nice to meet you, Chime!" She held her claws out for a shake. Instead, she received a kiss upon the top of it. "I know it is..." He smirked and released her hand, settling back onto all fours. For a moment Faar was dumbfounded, but she shook from her stupor and nodded quickly as she rubbed her cheeks. "Really, thank you so much. That happens more often than you think, actually, heh..."
"Oh~? Perhaps I should hang around you more often then, darling." He clicked softly before shaking his head again."Oh, but I know such a pretty thing has dear ones nearby. Don't you?" His head turned slightly but he kept it from avoiding the deep gaze of the spiral with him. She gave a quick nod once more, "O-oh, yes, I do.. We're going on exciting adventures!" She said with faint excitement, tone raised to convey it though she truthfully did not feel too sincere about her happiness with the travels.
Chime gave another click of his tongue, head tilting. "But you shall soon need further rest, I'm sure. Well, I can promise you somewhere better than that den of yours now... you should come visit my tavern nearby. You'll surely see me again there~" He smiled happily, gently tracing his claws over her tail. "We can heal you.. Ah, you and your dearest, of course. And we're always looking for new talent. I know that cute voice of yours has perfect potential!"
Faar looked to the side shyly. The prospect of her tail being mended, of all her friends' wounds being cared for.. finally finding some relaxation from the exploits prior. The mere idea of being able to share her talents and hone them with such a handsome 'dancer seemed too good to be true. "W-well, I do love singing. How I'd love to come along with you! I'll tell them, I'll tell them." She said, her euphoria returning in a burst of something so much more exquisitely joyful. Chime chuckled at the display of the truly delighted spiral as she stared up at him, and he rose his claws to slide them under her chin briefly.
"I know I won't be disappointed when I see you again... But now I must leave.." "You must...?" She placed a gentle grip upon one of his front arms, her maw forming an 'o' at the feeling of his shiny, immaculate hide. His beak turned and he placed his free talon upon her own, chuckling softly as he had many times before. "You'll see me again, darling. One way or another, at least." His talon slowly moved away as her own retracted the same, and he blew her a final kiss before trotting off like a perfect show dragon into the forest.
Faar remained there for a moment with a smile and a bright blush upon her face, watching him disappear with a hopeful gaze.
