(This is just an open starter for a super hero type rp. You can treat it as a 'my hero acadamia' type setting or a generic super-her verse. Feel free to jump in with whatever kind of character you want))
It was raining out. He always hated the rain, but rain meant less people up, and a reason to keep his hood up without looking weird. The last thing he needed was to be noticed in this part of town. Someone recegnising him from the news or the papers... That would only make things more difficult.
The last few months had been difficult. He hadn't been at the top of things, but he was a moderately respected villain. Money and a reputation. Thats all he needed.
But life was strange Between a few odd events and nearly being killed he'd grown a new perspective on things. He felt bad for some of the things he'd done (Though not all of it), and some part of him wanted to make up for it.
He was rather skinny for someone who had once considered themselves to be a villain. And younger, too, in his mid 20's. . Long, dirty-blond hair and a deep blue eyes. And a pail yet fresh scar going down the length of his neck. He was almost unmistakable if you knew him.
Perhaps yanking the hood down over his face wasn't the best idea, because soon enough he found himself running strait into someone and getting knocked back. "Heck, sorry, man..." He half mumbled, scrambling to his feet. He was just another awkward kid at this point, and he looked the part. Glancing up, he took a step back, trying to give the person some space. Something about them felt.. Familiar. SOmeone he knew? Fought? "I... Didn't hurt you did I?" A stupid thing to say, he figured.

(This sound okay?)
Holly fidgeted with her phone, glaring up at the sky as best she could without turning her face up. The rain wasn't in her plans at all and now she was soaked and too unwilling to get her phone wet to pull it out and call anyone for an umbrella run. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair, frowning as she had to force it through the damp tangles.
If she had just been going home it would have been one thing, but she had been making her way back from her first, and relatively disappointing, week as a solo hero. Ever since she'd been a kid, being a hero had been her dream and yet now... now it seemed somewhat underwhelming. She knew anyone she asked would just tell her to stick with it, it would get better but it was hard to believe. Sidekicking was one thing, but running an agency was straight up a pain.
She flipped her phone around a few more times, thinking over just pulling it out into the rain, when someone bumped her hard enough to stumble forward. "Whoa!" she quickly rebalanced before looking back at an apologizing man.
"Uh, no worries. I take worse hits everyday." She dusted off her front and forced a smile, a small part of her hoping she wasn't yet popular enough to be recognizable outside of her hero uniform. "How about you though?"

(YEa, thats fine))
"Uh.. ME..?" HE stared at her like it was a foreign question to him, before just shrugging. "Yea.... Um, Yea, I'm just fine...." He looked down at his rain soaked coat and sighed. It did little against the weather. "Just wet.... Some weather, right?"
Something about her really did strike her as familiar. Maybe he really had seen her before? Or maybe in a newspaper? Who knew.
"We uh.... Haven't met have we...? Ug, who cares... .This weather sucks too much for small talk..." He looked up at the sky, unintentionally flashing that long, freshly healed wound.
"I'm heading to a coffee shop around the corner if you need someplace to wait it out..." He said, before simply continuing to walk.

Holly tilted her head as the man's reaction before simply nodding along with his comment on the weather.
"I... no I don't think we... well maybe we have." She answered slowly, doing her best to hide a little wince when she saw a nasty looking wound. Before she could approach the topic of his condition again he was already walking away with the mention of a coffee shop.
A warm shop did sound nice though, and the weather didn't seem to be getting better. "Um, coffee sounds nice. Are you from around here? I'm, well I'm pretty to this part of the city. Moved here from the other end around two weeks ago." She started to ramble a bit, not sure what else to do with the situation. It wasn't often she got ran into and then just followed the person to a coffee shop. And there was something about the man, whether it was just his suggestion or she really saw him before was up to debate though.
(I'm subbed by the way)

"I... Grew up here.... Moved away and came back not too long g ago..." He said as he walked. The guy didn't really sound sure about his answer, however. "But I live just down the street. Not the nicest place, but it's cheap..." He stopped in front of some cheap looking coffee place and gave her a glance, before heading inside.
"So what brought you over here? New job?" He asked, getting in line.

"Oh, then maybe you can point out a few places that are good to visit around here." Holly smiled and followed him into the cafe. It wasn't much but it was warm and dry, not to mention she'd never been one for fancy bistro places. "That's right. Or well, more like I quit my old one to start my own business... My old boss suggested me to a group who helps fund start-up heroes in areas with low coverage." She shook her head. She still couldn't believe she had been the top choice out of the little troupe of sidekicks.
"What about you? Why did you move back? If you don't mind me asking"

He raised an eyebrow. A newbie hero, huh? That would explain a few things. But he had to be a bit more careful, in that case. She'd probably be on guard for anything to set her ahead, and his head would be too choice.
"Disagreements in business practice I guess... Wich is fine... I... Started to have my doubts about things anyway.... And... I don't know, I need a new pace to go at..."
He looked down, thinking. He had been thinking about quitting before... Some cohorts must have sensed that weakness in him and decided to cut him off... Literally. Everyone assumed he had died, which meant that he had a new chance to change if he played his cards right.
Eventually it became his turn to order, and he got a chocolate mocha, giving the name Owen.

"That makes sense. Though... must have been pretty bad to make you move completely." Holly glanced back to where she had seen his wound. She held her tongue for the moment though, watching him order his drink and taking a silent note of his name. When he was done she gave her own order, a caramel latte under the name Holly.
"So... I have to ask. Are you really okay? I don't mean to pry but, uh, you look like you got hurt and apparently you had a sudden move." She rocked on her heels a bit, looking mixed between awkward and concerned. "You in trouble?"

Owen looked over, seeming a little surprised as the girl asked the question. He just stared at her strangely, before shrugging.
"It's... Nothing you need to worry about.... It's in the past... Stuff happened..." He shrugged again and looked down.
"Besides, I'm sure you'd gate me if you found out, and that's not the impression I want to make...
