|Mare | Dragon | Celic ship | Interacting with Aidan|

The dragon nodded in understanding, before truly registering that the prince had asked him his name. His name...

His voice when he spoke was somewhat strange to hear, a little deep, and it seemed to vibrate in the air around him. Without meaning too, some of the dragon's magic seemed as though to be laced within the single word, giving it a mystical feeling. His tail gently swayed behind him as he looked straight into Aidan's eyes.

"Mare..."

Afterwards, he didn't see the princes reaction. His eyes widened as his head snapped towards the direction of the deck. The presence made a shiver slowly crawl up his spine and his cat-like pupils to turn to pinpoints. He felt the magic they held as they walked along the deck.

What would they think if they knew he was here? They probably already do, He thinks to himself, as his tail stills and his body tenses. The magic he holds continues to rush through him, hungrily pulsing through his bones to the point where he's shaking with the energy. His mouth opens slightly to let out an icy breath while he stares.

Andrach. . . what do you want?

Xkanji || God of Equilibrum || Ameth Ball || Interacting with Mär {@Ragnaroc} and Gri’vaya{@CrookedHalo1109}

The light dipped and spun at will, almost dancing on the gods as it shimmered, dappled and alluring. Xkanji changed instantaneously as well, with a shift of their hand- they appeared now in a shirt of satin, tighter around their chest, with creases and folds and dips at the collarbone, and cinched at wrists and waist to show off unblemished skin, the night sky dark expanse covered with a pearl silk, creamy and shimmery against the anciet being. Their pants were fine as well, not a wrinkle in sight on the cream, and boots of polished ivory don their feet, as extensive as any. It was utterly simple, but beguiling, sure to stand out in a embroidered and layered crowd.

The god had taste, clearly remembering colors despite being robbed of their own.

“Hm.” They hummed their approval, placing a slender but firm hand on Mär’s arm. The light in their silver eyes hummed a pulse of excitement their face could not express, although at glances, something much darker prowled at times, darkening the silver and then letting it resume it’s clarity. The night was not guaranteed to be benevolent, after all.

A glance around before they took a step revealed something else. Another energy pulse, an aura similar to their own. The third god. They had little rememberance of her, unlike Märs, but her signature made an easy sense to Xkanji. Their silver eyes turned and probed for their figure, finding the simply dressed female with ease. Their lip curled, and whether in amusement, disgust, or pleasure, it was unknown. “We have company,” they whispered lowly, knowing they didn’t need to. The goddess would hear, and they stared at her as they murmered, not moving.

| Aidan | Prince of Celic | Location: Celic ship | Interacting with Mare and Andrach|

Aidan's eyes widened at Mare's voice, and following his panicked reaction suddenly, Aidan's heart sank. Another monster? He put his hands on the dragon's shoulders, cooing at him softly. "Hey, what's the matter? It's alright, listen..." The magic emitting from the dragon sent tingles through his arms. With this much unstable magic around, the odds of another attack wasn't impossible. Yet, the ship was steady, and the crew had gone silent. "Stay with the prince. I'll go and take a look."

Aidan urged the dragon towards his chair, and half-sprinted out of his cabin to see what had upset the creature so much. A dizzying panic rushed through his head. They wouldn't survive multiple attacks, even with Mare's help. The fear that Andrach had been killed, like Mathias, clutched his mind as soon as he saw the sea monster that nearly pulled the ship to pieces, and he couldn't let the thought go.

When he reached the stairs, his heart nearly stopped in his chest when he saw a familiar white-haired figure standing at the end of the hallway. Aidan's fears abandoned him all at once, and he practically leapt into her arms, embracing her for what seemed like forever. His eyes welled with tears.

"Thank the gods of creation you're alright, Andrach! When we were being attacked and you didn't come," his voice shook, along with his body. "I assumed the worst. I thought, maybe... Oh gods, I'm just so happy to see you. You're here..."

He buried his face in the soft fur she wore. Once again, in his mind, he was that young and frightened teenager that had been flung from the ship into the middle of the cold and unforgiving ocean, when suddenly, his guardian was there, and all was right with the world once again. He didn't think about Mare's reaction, or even why she had boarded the ship. All that mattered was that she was alive, his old friend. Even though he hadn't seen her in years, everything about her was familiar, and the most soothing calm he's felt in years washed over him.

|Mare | Dragon | Celic ship|

Mare watched with wary eyes as the prince left. His throat tightened and his body shook slightly from the unstable magic. Dragon's may be known from the tales of how they used their great amounts of magic or how they had been seen all over the planet, but nowadays, things like that are hard to come by. Mare, having been asleep for 100 years, hasn't been able to keep his magic under control since he woke, but that hasn't stopped him from trying.

He clenched his fists, his tail shuddering, as he tried to regain control of the strange power inside him. He was hungry, which didn't help much, but he didn't want what happened to dragons in the old days to happen to him. When a dragon's magic took hold of their bodies, their own power could corrupt them, turning them into what he remembered humans had called them, "Malum", and if he were to do that now...

Mare shook his head, feeling as though in a state of vertigo, his arms shooting out to help regain his balance. It didn't help much though, for he fell into the chair the prince had urged him to sit on, and wrapped his tail around some of its wooden legs. His head lolled as his throat burned. His icy breath could get so cold to the point where it burned and, even though dragons could heal fast, it hurt like a son of a gun.

He spluttered, then coughed, raising a hand to his mouth before looking beside him towards the injured raider prince. Mare looked at his pale face, then his wounded arm, before turning to look down at the floor. He could feel his body trying to shift back into its dragon form, and he tried his hardest to keep it at bay before it breached and let loose a flood of magic. At least, that's what he thinks would've happened if he hadn't shot out to bite his palm and thumb.

His teeth sank into his own flesh, his snow white glove blooming a deep, almost black, crimson. He could taste the iron on his tongue as he bit harder, making his mind focus on the wound and not his surging magic. Thankfully, it worked. His body was so occupied by the sudden wound that his magic had to listen to his brain's demands. He sat like that for a while, hand in mouth, red liquid slowly moving down his chin, as he looked towards the floor, eyes glazed over with relief.

He wouldn't be corrupted now, and hopefully, he wouldn't be in the future.

Pistrix || Sea Guardian of the Arctic Ocean || Antarctic water palace || With: Wyvera, Hersha, (Andrach), Calypso

It was fairly smooth. Shifting into the meeting relatively unscathed by his kin. All until the banshee of a Guardian decided to pop open her mouth and whine. He felt his jaw clink into place with winding muscle to keep from spitting hot coals back at Andrach. He was better then that, not belittling himself to a petty state like her.

How he half dreamed to strangle her, his knuckles blanching with his ever tightening fist. A suppressed fury to the mockery produced, hinting to one sole event no doubt.

Pistrix hadn't bat an eye at the exit of the Antarctic guardian, his gaze long shifted to the table. Hands falling to fold in front, patiently waiting. The shriek of a disturbed chair ripped him to reality, in mere moments Wyvera had snarled and soon thrown the cephalopod across the room. At the distance he could weasel the threatening tone and words of his elder sister. The very demeanor getting even him to flinch.

Just like that the meeting was called off. Pistrix's brain left in slow cyclone that rolled his thoughts mercilessly.

"Well wasn't that cheery..." the Arctic Guardian had all but practically whispered. Rising from the chair as he felt his normal mood fall upon him once more, replacing the aghast expression that had unknowingly crept onto his features with the aloof stare.

Yes, of course he knew and expected Wyvera to be the hardest one to crack down on Calypso. What he hadn't foreseen was the unwitting squid being chucked into the doors for the elder guardian's grand exit from the palace.

It no longer mattered as of now, the eruption of violence is gone and instead the dreadful silence that even had Pistrix's frozen skin crawling to escape from. A horrible disease he had long been infected with, only becoming a true virus at the passing of Mathias.

Pistrix felt his legs attempt to cross and trip with uncertainty like a new fawn. He had a harrowing feeling that abrupt ends and fights would start becoming an on and off situation. All Pistrix could hope for is that the rivalry between he and Andrach stayed a sibling rivalry, as much as he'd love to break a tooth on his younger sister.

He wondered what Mathias would be thinking and saying now at what was happening, how Pistrix and the others were reacting to his chosen replacement. Would he be disappointed?

I love coffee. I love it oh so dearly. The caffeinated joy that brings me to waddle my penguin legs to freedom and join my fellow short brethren. One goal upon all our minds as a collective hive of couch potatoes: feed, sleep, feed. Yet I dared to defect, and ventured to the vast lands to sip the nectar of holiness. The frappuccino size grande. I fell many great beasts; titans of giraffe leggeths, shopping carts of short person annihilation, and crowds of tiny human destruction. I have conquered them all.
Andrach|| Sea Guardian of the Antarctic Ocean || Celic waters || Interacting with: Nathaniel, Aidan, captain of the vessel

Andrach sat in the captains wooden chair. Its arm rests were thick oak and connected with thin straps of leather to other various parts of the chair. She sat with one leg hitched over the other, and her head leaned into her left palm; her form slanting to the left. She was in no hurry any more. The meeting went on without her in her palace. There was no need to rush back. She closed her eyes and saw her siblings behind her tired closed lids, as the scene was before. She gave a burdened sigh, and gazed out of one of the cabin windows in the general direction of her palace. She hoped that they were well taken care of by the keepers of the place. She herself couldn’t even stay long enough for food and drink to be served.

The doors to the cabin flew open. The guards entered short on the heels of King Nathaniel. Lazily Andrach eyed this man as he spoke. But she perked up ever slightly at his disrespectful manner of addressing her. This man had to learn his place. He was a mere human after all.

She got up and walked briskly down the two broad steps between herself and the king. Her long legs gave her the obvious advantage. She half snorted at Nathaniel. “Learn your place, Nathaniel”, she murmured through a condescending smile. Her view flickered between him and the mound of spectators craning their heads to get a better look. He all but spat his words at her. “Now that your son is of age, You are having less and less leverage to keep spewing your words as you please, old man. I’ve been holding back to not feed you to a hungry leopard seal, purely out of respect from your heritage, of course. Small Emerentia was one of my favorites”.. her voice trailed off fondly. She thought of the brilliantly hyperactive child with blonde hair and green eyes. She saw so much of her in young prince Aiden.

She saved Emerentia off of the south coast of Celic roughly 1200 years prior. She was adrift from a merchant ship that had caught fire.
Andrach remembered each and every one of the children she saved and brought to Celic this way. Since she was unable to bear children of her own, she saw these small mortals as her kin; in a twisted way. Far off, she heard familiar footsteps clicking on the floor boards of the vessel ship. She’d recognise those footsteps of the young prince anywhere. Her gaze fixed on the king once more and she gave a sigh. “Consider yourself lucky you’re from Celic. There needs to be made an example”, she mouthed the last few words, as she did not want to frighten the rest of the cabin. She finally gazed to where the family crest of the family was pinned – on his right shoulder- and lightly pushed against it, causing the man to stumble back and fall with his backside over a crate filled with bottles of ale. “And next time you think it’s a wise idea to open your mouth to me, don’t” she smirked and turned to walk away. His landing was surely cushioned but he’d smell like a tavern for at least a while. She waltzed out of there toward the oncoming steps of the familiar golden boy.

“Aidan my sweet, she greeted the boy. He’d spent much time with her during his rebellious phase and she’d grown quite fond of his mannerisms. “Have they been taking care of you? You’ve grown so much, Have they been feeding you?” She cooed at the young man standing in front of her

She held up a finger to Aidan, to motion a quick exchange between herself and the captain who was standing to the side, his jaw hanging to the floor. At her approach he gave a slight stumble backwards. “On my way here, I’ve left a wake of sea monster corpses. Make sure they find themselves to needy fisherman villages off of our coast. And if you can’t do it, do send word to your fleet. I’m sure you can arrange something” she smiled sweetly as she returned her attention to her young protege.
She weaved her fingers through his thick corn colored mane. “I saw what you did back there. In the water? Who was it back there? Tell me all about your new friends” she urged as her arm hooked into his, waiting for him to lead the way to his quarters.

| Aidan | Prince of Celic | Location: Celic ship | Interacting with Mare and Andrach|

Aidan beamed at the guardian, who he'd always considered a good friend. He felt so much calmer, seeing her again after so many years. For a moment, he almost forgot about the exact reason she probably boarded the ship, until she asked out about his little... friend.

"The prince of Ameth is not my friend. He came to Celic on a trade ship with his sister, probably hoping to avoid the stuffy meeting that's happening soon. A real big thing, apparently, they're disguising it as a whole festival... Apparently he has magic, just like me. That's not even the whole story."

He explained casually as they walked, before he stopped her in front of his door. The usual heat that could be felt from his room from a few meters away seemed to have disappeared, and the magical energy was bouncing off the walls. He motioned Andrach closer, lowering his voice.

"I don't want to alarm you but, there's a dragon in there. His name's Mare, he's the one who actually saved us. He took on his human form, I thought maybe he could escort us across the water, and we'd pay him for his trouble when it was over. He isn't hostile. He... seems more confused than anything else."

Cautiously, he led her through the door where Mare was sitting on the chair beside the prince, who still appeared to be unconscious. His fever seemed to have broken though, and the color was returning to his face. Mare, on the other hand, didn't look so good.

"Mare, I'm back. Andrach, this is him." He knelt down before the man, taking his shaking and bloody hand, and wiping the blood down with a piece of cloth. His skin was so cold that it stung his fingers. He attempted to bind up the dragons's hand, shuddering from the amount of magic he was radiating. Aidan knew that this was dangerous. On the bright side, Andrach was there in case anything should happen.

"He seemed fine when I left him, I don't know what to do... As far as I know, none of my plants suppress magic."

Aidan looked at the dragon in pity, then back to Andrach. He was at a loss. If Mare couldn't control his power, and turned back to his original size beneath the deck, he'd sink the ship. He had no idea how quickly it would get out of hand.

Andrach|| Sea Guardian of the Antarctic || Celic Vessel on the antarctic on the way to Ameth || Interacting with Aidan, Mare, unconscious Aelous

Andrach had not been sleeping well. If correct, by her count, it had been a full fortnight since she’s closed her eyes to retire for a slumber. Though there was nothing on the Guardians features that could betray her feelings, she felt the onset of fatigue strong. She felt irritable beyond normal when she saw her brother, Pisstrix and she felt it now, in this vessel. The return trip to her castle was beckoning her. Although she wished no ill intent or to seem curt, she really needed to go rest.

For the young prince’s sake, she however decided to humor him. At the mention of a dragon in his cabin, she reminisced about the time he’d brought a small lizard to her door and explained to her he’d found the “Dragon” in a piece of driftwood. She knew that this time he was serious, though, as she viewed the whole scene of the battle against the sea creature from the confines of the ocean coverage. She knew that the man inside would be a dragon who turned into the form of a human. What she wasn’t sure of was how well this creature had its powers under control.

“I wanted to warn you, you know. All this magic is basically causing a beacon for the sea monsters. If you lot can’t keep it in check, they’ll be coming for you”, Andrach spoke, more seriously. Although she held a lot of love in her heart for this boy, she had to be stern. She was having none of it, all these sea monsters and havoc in her neighbourhood. “That’s what I was trying to tell your father, before…” her voice trailed off. She didn’t feel like explaining to him what had happened. One had to honor your parents, no matter what kind of people they were. That was simply the way it’s always been.

She glanced at the ferns hanging off of the walls as Aidan let her inside of his chambers. It smelled lovely. The aroma of a lot of different plants struck her senses. The small cacti was blooming and made gentle flower crowns on their prickly hosts.
As a Guardian of the Antarctic, she didn’t have much in regard of horticulture. Her corals were frozen up in slabs of ice and her wildlife were not particularly sentient. She envied her siblings for their oceanic prowess. The only one who would be able to empathize with her on this would be Pistrix, though she doubt he cared at all for such fine things, considering the depths at which he dwelled.
The sight of fresh living plants on this side of the world made her eyes light up. After a quick second of admiring the diversity, she returned her attention to the people in the room. The magic coming off of Aidan was possibly the strongest. The natural magic found in the dragon came second. Third, was the flicker of magic radiating from the unconscious human prince on Aidan’s bed.

“He has great potential”, Andrach urged, and looked over her shoulder at Aidan. “What was he doing out here, isn’t he a bit far from home? I doubt Constance would act too kindly to having her coddled bundle of joy this far away. Much like your mother”, she teased.

“My goodness what have we here” she flashed a brilliant smile, and put both her hands on the arm rests of the chair the dragon named Mare was sitting on. The natural magic was practically coursing through his veins, and it could only make him weak. There was not enough magic in him to change him back to his much larger natural self. “It’s so cute how you’ve managed to get yourself a dragon. I’ve always wanted a pet”, with that, she cupped his chin in between her fingers like one would a puppy.

“You could syphon the poison from his blood. The alchemists are calling the process osmosis, but in reality it’s just a fancy word for filtering the things you don’t want anymore” she said as she stood up straight. The thought of the magical Ameth prince boggled her. As far as she knew, magic had to be passed down from generation to generation, and she could not remember that there were any magicians in Ameth royalties for as long as she could remember.

The human began to move. With haste, Skohla darted under the dock and coiled within the cover it provided, which was a tighter fit than expected. She kept her head above the water, listening intently for signs that the human was drawing nearer. And sure enough, the thud of footsteps came, and a voice called into the darkness, a female.

An offering of respite to someone she couldn't even see... foolish. But still, it was an offer of warmth, and Skohla would rather take that instead of being uncomfortably curled up in thrashing stormy waves. And in these conditions, the shadows were all too easy to twist into her human self... guise, not self, now was not the time to forget the difference. And all the better, her two companions couldn't follow her when she was in disguise. But how would she explain why she was under the dock in the first place? A castaway maiden? A lone sea spirit? A forgotten god?... Occam's Razor. The lass above her head needed only to know what she had gotten herself into. Skohla thought she could her another voice on the wind, but what did it matter? She'd be gone by the morrow's sunrise. And so she uncurled herself from around the dock's support beams, and raised a single eye, the size of a carriage wheel, above the surface to look at the stranger that had offered her that rough-looking hand. A sinewy, sunburnt girl, tan, with long hair... She looked surprisingly like her own form. How curious.

"A generous offer," Skohla spoke, and she raised the rest of her head above the waves, looking the girl directly in the eyes. "Very generous indeed..." She continued to come our of the depths, meter by meter, skin gleaming in the flashes of lightning. "In fact..." She was bent into an S-shape, gazing down at the human who seemed so small now. Her foremost fins were exposed to the wind, and they whipped gently in the growing winds. Her white pupils couldn't make out the expression on the girl's face. She barely even had to focus, before the shadows twisted themselves into her little human puppet. "...I think I'll take you up on that offer," both mouths spoke, as they bowed in unison. And as she sunk back beneath the waves, she channeled her consciousness into the puppet, and found herself staring face to face with her new hostess. "If you're still offering, of course. The name's..." Scylla, or Skohla? This was outside Ucia, and whichever she used would have no consequence here. And so she decided, "Skohla."

|Fjord Kelpie|Sea Monster|Eon Coastline|w/ Eos

Three!

The Fjord Kelpie had turned dark purple and blood red, it's colors of aggression, as it dug its horns in a third time. They were stuck for a moment, but when they were wrenched loose, the gaps in the wood were large enough to see through. The Kelpie screamed another scream as it backed up again and...

Four!

The fear of its prey was audible, delectable. The kelpie was drooling with excitement, venom dripping from its maw into the ground. One more strike should do it. The shiny thing was almost split in two. The Kelpie took its final strides backwards, and...

Fi-

Something hurled itself into the Kelpie's shoulder, and stamped down on its foot, hard. The Kelpie opened its mouth to roar at its assailant, and was shocked into silence as something was shoved into its jaws. It tried to snap whatever it was in two, and ended up wounding its jaws, as whatever it was was more solid than bone. It panicked, and began to flash stripes of black and white along its body in a desperate attempt to scare off whatever was attacking it. But then... whatever it was began to sing. A song that drowned out the sound of prey and fury. A song that sounded so foreign, yet so familiar. A song that warmed the heart and chilled the bones. A song that made the Kelpie stop, and turn to look at the strange creature that had attacked it, and now was trying to soothe it.

It was a... human? It didn't smell like a human. It smelled like the ocean itself. And its song definitely didn't sound like the calls of a human. No, it must be something else. A naiad, or an undine, or...

The kelpie's vivid coloring died down. The stripes flashing along its length slowed, then stopped, then faded back to sky blue and burning yellow. Soon, even its yellow faded. Its knees buckled, and it decided to lay down for a moment. The song was... soothing. Sedative. The spines that had been fluffed high during its attack began to settle again. Its claws and thorns retracted. Even its magnificent horns folded down, to either side like a yak's. It lowered its head, and despite the howling of the true kelpies just beyond the near-shattered slabs of wood...

It fell asleep.

Aynith / Princess of Ameth || Celic Vessel on the antarctic on the way to Ameth || Interacting with the queen of Celic

Aynith followed the queen to the kitchen, her mind raced.
How did Aelous save Aidan from such a mighty creature? She knew he was a great fighter but that great!
She was able to hear a bit of the conversation Aidan and her brother were having. Bits and pieces she heard Aelous yell a couple of times, she could not hear what. She also heard the words SeaPearl and Raider. The queen smiled at her and handed her a small cake.
“Thank you, your majesty,” she said politely even though she was far from hungry she managed to take a small bite.
“Your majesty, I am very worried and confused. It’s not like Aelous to lose his temper from what I overheard he did and I heard stuff like Raider and SeaPearl. What is the SeaPearl? A jewel, a precious treasure? I don’t understand what he was doing in the ocean when the sea monster attacked and____”
She paused “How could he survive if he does I mean Aidan has magic and Aelous has none. He could not face a mighty creature like that and survive. I think Aelous has been hiding something from me has he been for a very long time, I have no idea what trouble he could be been. Your Majesty, I just know who he is anymore it's like he’s changed or I don’t know maybe he’s always been that way and he has not shown it till now.” She met the queen's eyes.
“Is my brother a raider your majesty, please I am not a little girl anymore I can handle the truth about my brother?”
