Members of the group have likely been apart of families that either founded the guild or been in their world for nearly as long though sometimes new blood is exposed to the world of dreams. What the Dreamwatchers do is essentially watch over the world and its citizen’s dreams. From daydreams to dreams to nightmares. They’re there to watch and make sure everything is kept in check. A defense for the waking world against anything that may escape the dreamscape and harm those asleep/dreaming in the waking world. Dreamwatchers' Guild Basics, Races, Ranks & the Dream

The city of Elmvale has been around for several hundreds of years, starting as a small village and growing into the large city it is today. In times past when science and intelligence couldn’t explain everything and there was a different sort of magic that hung in open more freely..the people were aware of those that watched over their dreams. Often recurring figures that appeared and were remembered, sometimes the beings would start as normal humans then change a little more each time. Sometimes they stayed the same and occasionally the figures would just disappear. People were wary but at the same time safe.

Time passed and science rose, erasing more pagan religions and belief in the magical world and dreamscape. The Dreamwatchers were forgotten but far from gone.

In modern day they live somewhat normal lives amongst the rest of their city. Some watching over the daydreamers and those that nap during the light hours. While others sleep during the day to prepare for watching over the rest of the world at night.

Always around but hidden are they.

What is the Dreamwatchers’ Guild??
To the outside world they’re a company that provides counseling and some medical services. They even have a clinic that can handle the lighter wounds and ailments, even giving out some prescriptions. Their public name is the Hartwood Company and their symbol being that of a white stag.

For those in the know they are called the Dreamwatchers’ Guild. The name somewhat straightforward in describing what they do(they watch over humans and their dreams, and make sure nothing leaks into the real world).

(Please make sure you read the word doc for a more in-depth explanation.)

Dreamwatchers' World (HQ & Elmvale Locations)

The Dream, Flora & Fauna, Injuries and their Effects
Here are the locations on Dreamwatcher Grounds(Floor 1 through 4):
Lobby: The inside entrance after you head through the doors. You either present your guild or company ID or head to the front desk for an appointment with either the clinic or counseling. Those needing urgent care will be moved right along if possible. (1F)
Hallways: Hallways are anywhere that isn’t a specific room. Regardless of which floor(there are four, though the fourth is reserved for the Chief and Council. Then there’s a basement..dungeon?) (1-3F)
Mission Board: A small room with only a few tables, filing cabinets and two digital boards. The missions board is often used for big missions(story missions) & small, not as important but necessary missions(side missions). (2F)
Task Board: These are requests from other employees and Dreamwatchers. (Anyone can make up something within reason that their character would request or request help with.) (2F)
Meeting Room: Usually used for missions alone. Sometimes used for speaking with folks one on one. Depends on what’s needed. (3F)
Cafeteria: Used by the guild, company and if needed public if they can pay. Only rule here is to not discuss Dreamwatcher work and no fighting. (Note you can sort of talk about Dreamwatcher things..but the public musn’t hear.) (1F)
Training Room: Rather large and split into two sections. Half the room is used for physically combat and weapon practice while the other is used for magical training and practice. The walls are made of noise canceling materials and can absorb most damage but it’s advised to avoid hitting the walls if possible. (2F)
Dorms: Where those whom do not have a private residency in the city can rest and have a space of their own in a way. The rooms are small but not cramped, and you’re able to customize/decorate them to a decent extent. (3F)
Library: There is a small library on the first floor with the counseling & clinic. There’s a more extensive collection on the third floor and rumor has it a private collection in the basement. The basement one has never been found by anyone other then the chief. (Basement, 1F, 3F)
Garden: It is on the first floor, managed by the Keepers. The public has access to the area closest to the building but at some point they’ll just see a ‘wall’. A ward hides the dream creatures and flora. Only Dreamwatchers and the Keepers may enter or exit the warded area. (1F, Outside, ??)
Medical Ward: Hartwood company provides medical treatment to minor wounds and ailment for citizens on the first floor. But they also have to treat their own so in another area there are doors that function similar to the Garden with a ward that only Dreamwatchers can go through and see. Perhaps those with enough magic may as well? But that has never been the case. (1F)
Research Ward: Progress comes with time, patience, intelligence and willingness to keep going. Though they’ve been here for hundreds of years the Dreamscape seems to always hold something new to discover and the group needs to keep informed. Develop magic, technology and weapons. Seek and you shall find, but be wary of what you discover. (Basement)
Mystic Room: It smells of herbs, spices and something else. You can instantly feel a sort of energy floating about like smoke but not quite so heavily. Do you feel lighter? Regardless this is where Dreamwatchers go to head into the dreamscape. Sages are here almost all the time, Watching, assisting and working. (Basement)
Offices: At the top, rest the rulers. Not that they rule a kingdom but they’re there for a reason at least. The Chief and her two Counselors have their offices on the highest floor, to watch the city and find a little peace and quiet while they work or take breaks. If you get promoted, have an issue, get in trouble, have a question or whatever else you’ll be sent here be you a normal human or Dreamwatcher. (4F)

In the city there are many places one can wander both for a task or in down time. Their is:

The City: Anywhere non specific in Elmvale.
Local Library: The local library. So many books, so little time. (East Side)
The Cafe: A popular cafe for the young and old alike. How folks of all ages agree this place is the best is anyone’s guess. (East Side)
The Park: Nothing like the great outdoors am I right? Pet friendly too! Even has a nice koi pond somewhere within its bounds. (Center)
The School: The city keeps it’s school sort of close together so Elementary to Middle school then High School to College are somewhat near. (East Side)
The Woods: There’s a forest not too far out on the west side that somehow has managed to remain almost completely untouched by man. Though it appears safe and most of the time is..sometimes you feel as if there’s something lurking inside. (West Side)
The Hospital: What the clinic at Hartwood can’t treat usually can be here. Worst case sometimes Dreamwatchers may be too far away from the company and will have to go here for treatment. (West Side)

Since he's a sprout you can right down he's got the minimum year of training. Lineage is if his family has been apart of the dreamwatcher's world for a while or is he new blood. Training you can ignore for the most part since he'd only have gotten the basics. And it's from Kage's opinion. Otherwise he looks good!

Edit: Alterations is mainly for dreamscape related wounds. But what you wrote there can be moved to fun fact although it's not so fun a fact for Kage it sounds like. *chuckles*

He can still be attending school or perhaps private tutoring. Or he can be aged up.
