Aradia was chatting with Vantas, sitting by the others who were sticking around (Lalonde, Strider, Dirk, Roxy, Sollux, Vantas, Hal, and Aradia in total). Eventually the group managed to convince Nactis to return back to the shadow domain.
They returned back to the Tangled woods,with a few camping breacks on the way back and the orchid winged dragon searched for a new place to call home.
After some looking around she found a very large cave,hidden deep in the Foxfire brambles with a lake right before the Wispwillow Grove,just a few steps away-perfect place to call home.
The new lair offers a good view at the river between the Tangled woods and the Viridian Labyrinth,a safe distance from the beast clans.
Their new home is also capable to hold 50 and even more clan members without getting crowded.

She went out to scout just a few meters away to be still visible.
The midnight sibling started heading towards the lake and froze at the sound of a familiar lullaby,then changed her direction heading for the river instead.
Nactis kept her easy smile and laid down on the shore of the river.
She lazily looked up at the sky as the sun started to set and stretched her wings a little,then her gaze landed on a crimson sertis that appeared just as distracted by the sunset.
The beast was just on the other side of the river and carried...a fish net? and a spear.

The beast, taken by surprise slithered back a little with weary eyes and Nactis looked at her with curiousity.
She kept her relaxed posture and smiled warmly in a friendly manner,whistling a cheerful tune to the other,causing them to look a bit confused but wave a little.
The nocturne wasn`t sure whether the other would understand her but decided to give communicating a try,using the only way she knew aside from words.
She made a series of signs asking if the other understood what she is 'saying',how are things going with their day and that she can`t speack beast language,then asked if the other could teach her.
To her surprise and delight the sertis seemed quite happy at her request and signed that she does understand her signs.
The beast had a big toothy grin that faded a little as she seemed troubled and so our hero decided to invite her as a good neigbour would.
The other seemed hesitant but soon curiousity killed the cat and she accepted.

The beast took out a parchment and began recording a yet another note,presumably for her journal,glancing at the hatchling and back to her parchment,squinting at the letters she`s writing in attempt to concentrate on her thoughts and tune out the cheering of the other dragons,unsuspecting what will happen next as she got pretty absorbed into her work,now sketching something under her notes,judging by the way her hand moves with the pen drawing lines.

The carmine serthis(no this is not a different character,it`s the same beast were talking about here,I just made the mistake to call her 'sertis'instead of the correct title,i am very sorry.)jumped back a little in surprise,then looked back and forth between her sketch and the smiling copy of her with confusion evident on her face.
She stared at the copy for a while,blinking slowly as if this was some kind of illusion or a hallucination,then turned her gaze back to the drawing of a skydancer hatchling.
The beast stood still for a moment,looking dumbstruck,before she saw that one of the dragons was missing.
The serthis freacked out,fear and worry settling in her eyes as she slithered around the area in search of the missing hatchling,not knowing that it was right there in the form of her copy.
She quickly noted this in her journal entry and stuffed the pen and parchment in her bags as fast as possible,continuing her search,a look of fear,concern,anxiety and dispair on the beast`s face as she finally gave up after hours upon hours of searching.

Nactis looked at the beast puzzled but followed,watching carefully as the other explained what happened as they went to where the copy and the other hatchlings stood.
She noticed the fear and gently tapped the other on the shoulder with a warm smile,signing that none of them will harm her and that they will solve the current issue.

''Okay,what is going on here? Who are you lilttle one,yes you.''she spoke in a stern yet sweet manner.
"You gave quite a scare to our guest,an appology should do,right?
Also I see you`ve got a nice ability there.''the dragon turned to the beast who looked utterly lost for a brief moment then nodded at the Nocturne and quickly added the new information to her notes,tucking her things back and offering a had in appology with an appologetic and uneasy smile,still not used to her new discovery.
